Afghanistan has so much history & culture it’s lovely you are showing some to the world . The conservative nature of the land is due to centuries of invasions , which often included abducting & abuse of local women by foreign invaders. Even Alexander the Great couldn’t defeat the local resistance so married a local Afghan girl . If Afghanistan is left alone it will become one of the most successful nations .

There is no doubt that the people of Afghanistan are hospitable, they consider anyone who visits their country as their guest and they treat them very kindly and even many of them take foreign tourists to their homes and treat them like a guest. Dear, they welcome them, but I mean the overwhelming majority of the people of Afghanistan, and there may be a very small number of bad people in Afghanistan, just like anywhere in the world, who want to abuse foreigners or deceive them and take their money. They steal, this is a natural thing, but the story of the Taliban is different. They are really a violent, fanatical, ethnic, and criminal group, and the reason they behave well with foreign tourists is because they need to be recognized by the countries of the world. They try to behave well with foreign tourists in order to show a good and beautiful face of themselves to the world, but their behavior with the people of Afghanistan, especially the non-Pashtun ethnic groups of Afghanistan, and especially the Hazaras, is very bad and violent and discriminatory, and the people also because of the environment The repression and terror created by the Taliban cannot tell the truth to foreign tourists because they are afraid of the Taliban's punishment and revenge, and the Taliban have committed and continue to commit many crimes, oppression, and discrimination against the Hazara people, such as genocides. killings and usurping the areas and lands of their villages in different provinces and regions of Afghanistan, as well as destroying their houses on various pretexts, such as non-standard or usurped or state ownership of their lands, as well as destroying and destroying the crops and products of the Hazara people by The Pashtun nomads who, with the support of the Taliban, sent their large herds of goats, sheep and camels to the Hazara areas in order to graze and destroy the Hazaras, which is the result of their one-year hard work, under the pretext of grazing their flocks in the mountains and plains, as well as the coercion of the Taliban. A lot of money by Taliban continues from Hazaras under different pretexts, as well as harassing Hazaras under the pretext of having or hiding weapons and taking money and extorting money from them under the same pretext. are doing that it is impossible to really say or write all those atrocities, crimes and discriminations in this ambush and in this short text, and also these oppressions against the Tajik and Wazik ethnic groups continue by the Taliban, who themselves are (99) percent Pashtuns. The end with a smaller scale is milder and the oppression and discrimination against the Hazaras is more severe because they are not only ethnically but also religiously different from the Taliban and follow the Shiite religion.

You made a Wrong point in middle of the video You said that the lack of freedom for women in Afghanistan is due to men being unable to control themselves when they see women It seems you are quite influenced by Western media propaganda In reality Muslim womens prefer to live modestly taking care of household chores while men handle outdoor work. This modesty is derived from Islam to maintain order in society This is why the family system among Muslims is strong worldwide Conversely in Western countries the spread of immorality has led to a decline in marriage rates with many opting for nightclubs to fulfill their desires, resulting in the destruction of the family system.
@AhmadAli-ez8db
@AhmadAli-ez8db 3 ай бұрын
In Afghan culture, the concept of segregating men and women is not merely rooted in the belief that men are unable to control themselves, necessitating women's protection or separate spaces for families. Instead, a fundamental value placed on privacy lies at the heart of this practice. Privacy is highly esteemed, offering families the opportunity to enjoy their meals without the intrusion of others. This cultural emphasis underscores the importance of safeguarding the honor and reputation of the family above all else. Central to Afghan societal norms is the notion that maintaining familial respectability requires strict boundaries between genders. These boundaries serve as a means to preserve the integrity of the community and uphold traditional values. By limiting interactions between men and women, Afghan communities aim to reinforce social cohesion and stability. These practices are deeply ingrained in Afghan social fabric, playing a crucial role in shaping community dynamics and maintaining a sense of collective identity. Furthermore, the practice of maintaining distinct roles and behaviors for men and women in Afghan culture is not merely a matter of segregation but a reflection of broader cultural values. These values emphasize the importance of upholding familial honor and ensuring that interactions within the community adhere to established norms. By adhering to these principles, Afghan communities strive to foster a cohesive social environment where respect and integrity are paramount, ensuring the continuity of their cultural heritage for generations to come.

@@AhmadAli-ez8db Yes you are right She incorrectly stated in the video that men can't control themselves Additionally she judged the people of Afghanistan through the lens of Western culture. She is failing to recognize the cultural differences Western countries often do not understand the moral values of other cultures Furthermore women in Western countries face significant oppression and are unsafe due to the high rates of violence and rape But still Western media is always engaged in the worst propaganda against Islamic countries that women are not safe there While reality is just opposite

In Europe the value of family is not destroyed. Women play an important part in the society for example in education and the health and social system. Women should have equal rights, be an active part of the community and not be forcefully segregated.
@AhmadAli-ez8db
@AhmadAli-ez8db Ай бұрын
@@giuliamor1 -Women often feel pressured by societal standards to undergo cosmetic procedures in order to be accepted as attractive or desirable. Many businesses capitalize on women's sexual appeal rather than their talents. For example, you might notice that a significant number of receptionists are women, and luxury brands frequently use images of attractive women to market their products. I recently saw a luxury car advertisement featuring a woman in a bikini with a seemingly perfect body. In the music industry, many female artists gain popularity through sexualized performances, which sometimes overshadow their musical talent. Women often work multiple jobs to provide for their families, which means their children may spend considerable time in daycare or with nannies, missing out on their mother’s presence and care. The wage gap between men and women remains significant. Additionally, women are frequently objectified for sexual pleasure, and many men are unwilling to commit to marriage or support their partners. Now, another sickness confuses women about whether they are men or women, and it prevents them from appreciating the bodies they have.

As a european woman with high human values the last part honestly triggered me. It hurt me. How can one put women in a whole calling it for safety whereas men can enjoy the beauty of a garden not to speak from fresh air? For safety the could put the men in the dark room 😉. The problem is because of them, right? Because of the incapacity to controll, ect. Hypocrisy. This does not match my idea - my values - of being a human, humanity and equality. I was actually thinking to maybe go there. But I cannot deal with that! It's completly wrong! We still have to learn a lot on planet earth! Greetings from Kasachstan 💓

Don’t go by the appearances and looks of people, they are very kind and genuine people it’s the lack of almost 50 years of war that Afghanistan never got a chance to recover and move forward with the rest of the world. Free from occupation? Now a militant, pashto minority has occupied the dari-speaking majority and taken away quite a lot of human rights, especially from women... Afghanistan IS occupied, just by a group from within the country. Don't kid yourself. Remember the panic from many locals when they Taliban were closing in on them... It's not like anyone voluntarily gave the Taliban control over the country, which is why the Taliban used violence, intimidation, and guns to force the locals into submission.

@@leoniep9231 Pashto is spoken by 62% (L1 + L2) and functions as the lingua franca, while Dari is spoken by 30%. those who run ofcourse scared of what will happen to them because all the past 20 years they are somewhat helping the ally and the ally out of sudden withdraw from afghanistan. the issue is the ally shouldnt be there and interfere in the first place

@@rsgr3963 I just checked again, but according to several sources I consulted it's the other way around, just like I said. It's not about first language, it's how many speak the language fluently, which is 77% Dari and 48% Pashto, and these same sources also confirm that lingua franca which is used most commonly in the more urban areas is also Dari, including some dialects of Dari So, same thing I wrote in my first comment. However, the point I was trying to make is that for an advanced, urban, mostly Dari speaking population used to democratic values, an armed, Pashto speaking invaders from the South (i.e. the Taliban) might feel just as much as an occupation and oppression by a foreign culture than what it felt like for them when Western powers were still in the country. Especially for women, these imposed differences are felt now more than ever. Womens' rights were definitely better during the US involvement than what they are now and were last time under Taliban rule. I am aware that the difficult situation in the country only came to be via various foreign occupiers with their own geopolitical interests, Afghan people seldomly had their land in their own power and that's a huge part of the problem. But what happend recently, to just leave the country to a militia (i.e. the Taliban) who are enforcing Sharia and suppressing any democratic efforts is just devastating for the people of this country, that's not a good solution for anything. Remember the scenes of sheer terror and chaos the population in Kabul experienced when the last US plane departed and it was known that the Taliban were just hours away, closing in. We don't have to pretend they wanted the Taliban there.

Why does this woman so enjoy traveling around Afghanistan, when she knows none of the local women can enjoy the same? How hypocritical and it’s obnoxious that she thinks the place is so “hospitable”. Yes to men and foreign women paying them, but definitely NOT to local women! This blogger is utterly clueless, and has no appreciation whatsoever for democracy and human rights. How shameful she is.

I understand that view isn’t shared by all afghans though. It’s generally for one group within Afghanistan having now been and spoken to many people. It needs to be about choice and respect for multi-indigenous groups. Imagine if in the uk we only enforced one rule based on one group 🫣

@@carriepatsalis -There is a common misunderstanding that Afghans believe men cannot control themselves, and therefore they segregate or restrict their women. Segregation is viewed as a way to create a comfortable social environment where both men and women can freely interact without concerns about modesty or unwanted advances. For example, a woman breastfeeding her child may feel more at ease in a setting where she is surrounded only by other women, eliminating any potential discomfort of being stared at by men. This separation can foster a supportive atmosphere where women feel respected and understood in their maternal roles, without the distraction or unease that integrated spaces might bring. In addition, segregation is seen as a way to honor and respect women, protecting them from potential harm or uncomfortable situations that could arise in mixed-gender environments. Historical practices and societal norms have also contributed to the adoption of gender-segregated spaces in various aspects of life, including social gatherings. These norms often stem from cultural beliefs regarding propriety and social order, where maintaining distinct spaces for men and women is seen as preserving traditions and upholding values of modesty and respect. In many cultures, such segregation is deeply ingrained and serves to delineate roles and behaviors deemed appropriate for each gender within specific social contexts. This historical context underscores the complexity of segregation, reflecting a blend of practical considerations and cultural significance that continues to influence contemporary social dynamics.

@@AhmadAli-ez8db You explained it so eloquently bro. I commend and applaud the level of your intelligence. I don't think her mind would be able to grasp the idea you are trying to explain. Most westerners see things in a very simplistic manner. They are often so insensitive and think of their cultural values to be superior. While I loath the current regime in Afghanistan who are preventing women from getting education and are putting other restrictions on them, I can fully understand that separate spaces for families is not because men cannot control themselves. Even suggesting that idea is so offensive and full of prejudice. She is surrounded by men; so doesn't she ponder for a moment and ask herself why aren't those men losing control on seeing her and talking to her. Separate spaces for family is all about privacy.
