As a HVAC person...licensed....etc...this is why i dont care for all the complicated stuff on extra hi eff equipment....rather have single stage compressor...all hvac manufacturers keep preaching hi eff...instead of realiabity...you just basically trading a lower energy bill....for more repairs...simplier the unit the less repairs....Great video ...

Not that I know of. They were actually pretty reliable as far as I know.

Probably Carrier. And that's probably because I've have such a good experience with then. My company is a Carrier FAD dealer and we get excellent customer service from our local dealers.

How much did you charge for replacing the inverter

This was still under manufacture warranty and our workmanship warranty. So nothing to the customer. However if this was not in warranty, this would have been a few thousand dollars easy. And that would have been mostly material.

Yea it was. Still under labor warranty too. Didn’t cost the customer a dime.
