I have a question. I am building a new home and It will have a standby generator. Conventional ACs have a very large inrush and this means the generator has to be much larger than you need for the actual running current of the home. Does the best Carrier infinity 27VNA3 have a lower inrush? I though I saw somewhere that there was no LRA listed, only a single value, which was something like 25 amps. Does the Carrier not have a large initial surge? If it were really 25 amps max draw, I could do a generator that is only 13kv, and this is much quieter than a 20kw generator.

Can you install a normal condenser to a infinite airhandler?

Thank you for watching. Yes, but the Infinity air handler does require the Infinity control thermostat no mater what condenser you put with it.

Nice installation..how much clearance to the wall do you need?

Thank you for watching the video. We put this condenser 6 inches off of the wall which meets the recommended clearance requirements.
