One thing I would add if you can place your fighters strategically that can be beneficial for you team as well. Not to mention if you place them correctly, your fighters can absolutely wreck the enemy carriers squardons.

I love carriers they are definitely my favorite type of ship but I absolutely suck at them, I'm very bad at hitting enemies I can't shoot where they are going and I always miss which causes abysmal performance on my part praying these guides help me be a better carrier player cause I really want to use them

I always wait until the very last moment on my attack run to drop my bombs and torpedoes. When you’re using dive bombers, it cuts down on the lead you need, and it makes hitting torpedoes easier. If you wait long enough, hitting destroyers becomes much easier, especially if you correct your dive midway.

The only CV that I’ve always got in a random session is they are farming damage only on BB because they are noob that can’t torps a small target like DD. And when I said “need intel” they always said “Negative” one reason why I hate a match with CV is they don’t know there’s role they just think they are like “FLYING DD”

Saipan is a good ship to farm credits if you want to get as many credits per battle as possible. I average 600k-800k credits per match with rare credit boosters

Nice video. I'd like to consider myself a good cv player, as I already do what you do in this video, I was wondering if you or anybody know about baiting enemy fighters? I've seen it done on pc a couple of times but haven't seen anyone talk about it. The idea is to fly some planes into an enemy fighter squadron and immediately send them back to the carrier so that the enemy fighters pursue but aren't able to kill any of your planes while also being "spent" as fighters can only attack once before the consumable is considered used.

Unfortunately, I've tried it multiple, and it doesn't seem to work as it does on PC. You will just lose your squadron. Unfortunately.

Just started the ijn carrier game, my best match was last night on that one map with the giant island in the middle with water shaped like a pin wheel. Left flank only had 3 ships right had 5 so i went to left flank to hide and bomb ended up knocking out a phoenix's engine on the first bomb so we got one of their cruisers down which led to a snowball on left side. I see a kuma heading up a cap in mid forced him to go towards my team in right then I see a bb hit my first wave get s flood, still having a wave of torps I launch wgain and get a perma flood killing him. End of the match was me and my dd ally against the enemy German carrier in which I got high caliber on.

I find it sad that the optimal play is STILL to predrop some torpedo/bombs just to save a few planes..

The biggest meta tip would be learning AA skills of the enemy team like you said there. Nothing better than,bullying bad AA

Currently grinding the Kaga beurau rn so using the Shoukaku, beend doing pretty good in 20 games i have 13 wins and my best game to date is a 135k game with Confederate and high caliber at the same time.

Each torpedo bomber carries two torps. Don't know where you're seeing 6.

Yup 100 percent. As annoying as they are & can be, they are NO MATTER what the most important ship on your team 2nd to DDs.

You probably saw Enterprise on the PC version. Enterprise is not available in Legends yet. However if Enterprise does become available, you bet your ass I'll be picking it up!!!

You would think taking out the DDs your team could win . This happens every time I play a carrier I spot dds me or my team kills them then we lose the match . Every time!

Carriers are OP because AA is completely useless in game. Bring back meaningful AA defense and get rid of this BS 'start dive run and invincible' mechanic and people would stop bitching.

However you can keep them spotted for your team. You can also spot their torpedoes when fire them.
