I think in general pete's range is pretty narrow, and can only be very big draws and made hands after calling the flop. So he can have a lot of backdoor hands, like 56s, 46s, maybe some 4x with backdoor flush, but I do think its a bit of a reach, and he mainly has 45s all suits, 46s and 56s all hearts, 33 and 22, when going for the raise there. So too many value to bluff (only 2 bluff combos and 10 value - you need 1/4 on river, and turn is also a bit disgusting) so completely agree with your analysis, I think its quite a punt actually

​@@animaroku It may be a bit more complicated: 54s/65s are often 3-bet pre ,which could work in either direction. Other 5xs/4xs with BDFD could all at least consider a c/r ; once in a blue moon maybe even without Hearts. Then again, quite a few ( mostly suited) Ax two-pairs arrived who could also raise. - I would say, overall, over- folding makes quite a bit sense exploitatively, at least against pool. Even though our hand has a redraw, and looks like it has fairly solid value blocker properties.

Calling ob flop with 5/4x and then raising turn? The hands that I think are overfloded here are the 3x, 2x which are the main bluffs, and I think some 9x should be bluffed if I remember this node correctly. I think that you are correct that sometimes there can be 2p combos, but I really doubt that pool is finding enough bluffs on turn, and I extremely doubt that bluffing is profitable, because pool is overcalling

Most all bluffs on T he states have a 4 in it and on river he goes for a call because he has the 4 blocker, you can't have it both ways! If you think his main bluffs on T contain a 4 than on river having a 4 is very bad for a call.

Especially when str8 loses value and the hands IP should be betting OTT with all improve except for A9. This is just a bad call. Pete never has enough bluffs here in practice and nobody does other than high stakes crushers. This is a yuck spot to bluff for everyone except them. And pete is far from that, no disrespect intended. And speaking of blockers, A4 is not even a good hand to call with, since he’s blocking the bluffs like 43s. And for value even 52s gets there that can be x/r turn as a bluff. So in this spot it’s better to unblock bluffs than block value, so A9 would be better as a call bc it unblocks all the 4x bluffs that will follow through. If he had the 4h that would’ve been a better hand to call down with than 4c.

@@johngriller4997 i agree, even if some player finds a bluff otr, it will most likely include a 4, so A4 seems a reasonable bluffcatcher against a solver, but not against a human imo.

@@looper6394 i don’t even think solver likes the 4 to call with either but I’ll check… Ok so after checking the spot, it does mix and it is indifferent vs another solver. But in practice it’s a snap fold bc Pete gotta find 1/2c 43s, all combos of 64s, 1/4c Q3s, 2/3c K3s, all c of 65s, 53s, and 40% of 95s. I mean this is never bluffed correctly 😆 Easiest fold of all time in practice

The call is really bad against pete and basically any 200nl reg, the justification “I would need to call these hands sometimes to not overfold” doesn’t apply against someone who isn’t capable of overbluffing Against someone who thinks about their range and on the turn considers what value would raise and what bluffs have to be used to balance (like 3x of hearts or 43) call could be ok. But Pete’s whole philosophy is the opposite of only thinking about his hand
