It's always interesting to see people decide to make bold moves when there's absolutely no reason. Apicella....gotta respect his cajones, but bro....it's OK to give up your BB occasionally.

Yes, but a prime piece of analysis was missed when the commentator said Apchela picking his spot… For what, chip dumping? My god. Now it would have been interesting had he not barreled off with 10 3 off, and picked the second spot shown to fire on the river. I think after the first and with the stacks Tom calls, but that could have been a nasty little spot.

Crazy and it almost always happens when players have close to zero equity, and plays bad on turns with pretty good equity

@@AlexDuvallHollywood had 2 different versions... Hollywooding to Hollywood... and Dwan there taking time to go over all of his options... and already going over what sizing on the river if checked... Mostly he was thinking "should I shove now? Should I min raise? That's about all he has left... "

At least tang has a seat with them, he should feel honored to get taken to value town by Tomdwan Iron sharpens iron To be bluffed by tom dwan , ivey , negrenu, in any sense means you have made it to an elite level of competition And that in itself is an accomplishment even if he gets wrecked by these super pros and the crazy lines they wanna take
@benjaminkidwell5607Ай бұрын
😂😂 he shouldn’t feel accomplished. He didn’t grind through any stakes or win anything to get there. He’s simply a billionaire that could match their bankroll. Everybody there wanted his money not his company.

If Tom Dwan is ranked 593rd in the tournament, it's scary to think how slim my chances of winning are. But I still think he is one of the scariest opponents I would not want to face in a game of poker.

It's ridiculous why Tang plays these games trying to prove he is better poker player than hungry pros, he is not. Look at who he is playing with, dwan, ivey, negreanu, etc, every player on that table are super pros. A billionaire and his money are easy separated.
@philphil9347Ай бұрын
Maybe he plays them because he enjoys the game. He may not be trying to prove anything. It's OK to play for fun.
@Eliht01Ай бұрын

@adamjackson82Ай бұрын
He's a billionaire, he's playing for fun and pocket money against the best. I doubt he's trying to prove anything.
@chalachin4452Ай бұрын
guys, he is not playing for fun, I guarantee you that, successful people in one field tend to think they are the smartest guy in the room so he is definitely out there trying to prove that he is smarter and can beat the pros. And successful people hate being beaten down on national broadcast, it embarrasses them. None of this is for fun when the super pros view him as the deep pocket whale they all can feast off hence he is invited to the game. The super pros play poker everyday to make their living, so it is not fun and games for them. Every other superpro at this table are legendary great. Who in their right mind would join this game. It's like a recreational basketball player going up against NBA players, the disparity in skill is laughable. I'm a rec player and when i goto the card rooms in the casino I clearly know i am outmatch by the sharks who camp out there everyday grinding out a living. If he is truly playing for fun play a home game with his buddies so he can trash talk, not this game.

All your bigger buy in and bankroll make you is a fatter fish against stone cold killer pros. Guys like Tang are the lifeblood of professional poker, they’re the blood bags all the vampires suckle from. The last thing he is is a “boss”, to these people. They just view him as a bottomless ATM.
@aaronsoto4622Ай бұрын
People like Koon shouldnt be at the table with these guys. He continuously keeps giving off information as well. Any really good poker player looks for that information as well to pick up on. Speech tells are Huge in poker. and table dynamics etc. Stanley gave away info with the first thing he said. He sold himself right there. You cant say stuff like that when Dwans at the table. Too smart.
