4:42. Granville 16 has the same zipper flaw that dates back all the way to Arrakis models: No overlap or hood on the zipper closing point. With motion and use, the zipper wiggles up a few millimeters and water drips through. It’s incomprehensible why Arc’teryx do not fix this design. There’s no point having watertight zippers with a single point of failure.

CTB26. Best bag design on the market. They really need to offer an XL harness option. That’s the only down side of that bag. The pack itself is perfection but the harness loses too A19/GR/MR.
@BacheweyChomp51504 күн бұрын
Totally agree. While I find the harness mostly comfortable, I do wish it was larger.

The Able Carry Daily Plus is my pick-stylish and just the right size. At 16 liters, the Arcteryx is too small for what I want to carry everyday or for travel.

Great lighting on this video, and the red backpacks in the background separate the one being showcased, making everything more visible (compared with previous videos with black table, black bag, black background, darker lighting). Great work!

Catalyst 26 and Able Carry Daily Plus are my go to EDC bags. AON 1.0 has great materials but the organization is lacking, ultimately it was sold. Black Ember materials and handles you have to pay additional money on top of a hefty price felt cheap and the pack was sent back immediately.

Depending how much to carry i shift between AC Daily plus and CTB 26, both in xpac. Its just one design issue with the ctb. The smaller front pocket can't stand heavy rain even with ag zippers, its soaking wet. So but overall great bag, both of them are my most used. Will check in the winner bag later today, never used a Arcteryx.

The Able Carry is nice but it should be noted that the laptop slot is not a dedicated one, you have to open the main compartment and root through other stuff to get to the laptop slot. Major mistake

Evergoods CTB 26 for me. I use it for both edc and pair it with a small cabin luggage for travel. Still fighting the urge to get the Griffin 2, it's an ongoing daily battle not to pull the trigger.

Would you guys be able to come up with alternative sports bag episode? Would love to see if there are any alternatives for like a pickleball bag without the bag looking like a pickleball bag.

Great lineup. Per the other video, I'd rather use any of these packs as my work pack. The only headscratcher is why some of these packs leave out a luggage passthrough function-that should be standard on any pack these days, IMO. I know these are all fully featured backpacks, but I have to say, that we are getting tons of use out of the Matador/Carryology EDX backpack. Even my wife loves and uses it!

Granville 16 is a bad champion. No exterior Water bottle pockets? If it is an EDC, most will definitely benefit from exterior water bottle pockets. My pick is the Evergoods CTB26, and close second Mystery Ranch Catalyst 26

Totally agree with you on the Granville 10L, I will never sell mine. They made it in a 15L as well, but for me, the 10L is the perfect size carry. That is one of the greatest messengers ever made. As far as the winner for me, that would go to the CTB26. Even though I hate external water bottle pockets on an around town EDC pack, the CTB26 is still one of my favorite bags of all time.
