Martin complaining that Lightning never recognizes the cycle of youth-to-age, and never grows because of it... Dude, that is literally the whole point of the ending. He decides to stop racing and train Cruz, finding fulfillment the same way Doc did when training Lightning. He even paints himself up in Doc's colors to signify how he's moved on with his life.

Double Toasted - Movie Trivia Team Schmoedown" for folks that are interested. It was an entertaining video. Korey and Martin even did a little act and gave it sort of an entertainment wrestling vibe. Also, as someone that follows Double Toasted, I felt kind of proud when Korey and Martin got the win.

25:19 - 25:35 It's kind of a shame that, after three movies, people still do not know about the universe on a basic level because of how poorly the world is built and focused on. I think that before they tried to do anything, they should have built their world and then try to tell a meaningful story. Also, they should either have left Mater out or not given much focus to him.

The first movie holds a special place in my heart. I was twelve when it came out and while the second movie is silly and mediocre by Pixar standards, I still find it entertaining. I'm very excited to see Cars 3 this weekend. I know the franchise gets a lot of flack, but I don't mind. It's a weird concept to begin with.

As the mom of a 4-year-old, I can honestly say Cars is the best entertainment that my child has been interested in, age 2 to present. His horizons are beginning to broaden now that he's almost 5, but I don't know what I would've done without Cars to break up Thomas the Train and The Wiggles. Trust me, watch Thomas & the Wiggles for 2 years straight, and Cars will look like gold to you lol

David Broadus Never before has my stomach gotten in knots for a review but right then. Weeks of tension just building up and when I saw the comments first I was scared. I started and stopped that review when it first came out multiple times, spent half an evening listening to it and even now I can't listen to Cyrus and Tony go out it. But I DID like the remix that Blackbelt Jones made of it lol

Besides, it's one thing for Cyrus and Co-host to go at it like that but it would just be wrong for Martin and Korey C. to get into it like that (and over fucking Cars of all things).

Pixar does not aim to make movies for just young viewers. they try to make movies for all viewers to be able to enjoy no matter what age they are .But yeah the Cars franchise feels like it exists just to sell toys and merchandise, so we never come to expect anything great from Cars. that's why I said, the first teaser trailer really made me think that it was actually going to give a damn and try to be a mature like story for once instead of just promoting the new toy line of cars for little kiddies to buy

lots of times its hard to listen to reviewers for kid films because they judge the movie on a library of films they have seen before and themes that are reused. it doesn't matter when the viewer of these films are probably very young and have not seen every film it is pulling from.

TBH the first movie came out a long time ago, I think by now all the kids (including me) that saw that movie is mature enough to see a darker more gritty cars movie, rather than focusing on a children audience, and I'm not talking about letting the car curse or shit like that. But the movie could have a better impact if it was serious. Especially when lightening crashes. At that point the movie should be about him recovering after that crash and realizing he's an older model car and being so, he's going to have complications after a while for his age.

Speedstar235 Really, I didn't really mind Mater either. In fact, I actually liked Mater more in that movie than I did in the first movie, and I liked him in that one too. He ended up becoming more relatable in the second movie as it showed how flawed he was and how smart he could be in terms of mechanical parts and engines. He's actually quite an underrated character that was the focus of a rather underrated movie.
