My parents bought one of the last ones of this generation in 2018. Bought it brand new off of the showroom floor for R265000. They sold it with 70000km on the clock in 2022 for R250000! I was shocked at how well their car held its value. Also, it was cracking good fun to drive! Slow, uncomfortable, unstable and could not take a turn but it had buckets and buckets of personality!

As a gen 3 owner - I might be a little biased, but I have a 2017 auto and can drive comfortably at the national speed limit (just avoid hills 😂). Absolutely love my Jimny!

I bought a 2016 at the beginning of the year with just over 100k kms for just under R200k and its is compromised but also the best car I have ever owned. It’s our second car, I do the school run and fit my 2 daughters, one in a booster seat behind my chair and the other in a doona behind the passenger seat. It’s our little cheap to maintain adventure vehicle perfect me to take the 4year old away with buds for camping weekends and to hit the dunes at Atlantis!

A very good alternative is a Daihatsu Terios. Especially the 4x4 variant. They come with a 1.5 Toyota engine. Very reliable and for much cheaper.
Yes! And there’s still a few companies making products to update the Jimny 3, as well as make all those small spaces so much more useful! 😉

I'm so happy to see Juliet, she's been reviewing cars for as long as I can remember, but viewers ain't subscribing to her channel 😢. Hopefully after this comment you gonna go and support our very own like we did to Muzi and MrHowMuch. Danko

Jimny is my daily and get away car. We just traded the 3 door for a 5 door so that the dog can go with while wife sits on back seat with baby in capsule. I miss the 3 door. I’d have both if I could.

My friend owns ons which is fully kitted... We went on a hour and a half trip... Thank goodness I didn't buy one... Nothing cool about it except that its 4x4...

Lol thanks for your opinion, I’ve been thinking for a while now of buying one but have never driven one and i get mixed reviews but have a feeling they might be a nugget to drive and uncomfortable 👍

The answer is yes for city life. rather this than a Fiat 500 but for more space & long open road driving rather get a SUV, Hatchback or a Cross Car

"A good 4X4 is built, not bought". In standard guise, a Jimny is a bit rubbish. BUT, fit it with an aftermarket suspension, rear selectable diff-lock (the auto-locker type can be dangerous on wet roads), aggressive all terrain tyres, better radio and speakers, etc, etc - and its an epic vehicle!

"radio and speakers" makes better how?
@travelmates12 ай бұрын
@dallesamllhals9161 Well, a better radio have many more features, making it more enjoyable to use. And better speakers have better audio quality... The standard sound system is a let down.

So many presenters and not a single indian presenter... even though indians have been on the car scene since the 70s. This channel is definitely exclusive
