MY captiva 2012 has the same engine. When I changed the oil the first time almost 6 litres came out! are you sure that this antara just takes 5 litres? I have seen posts where it takes 5.7 litres

gcmarcal Hiya, in this occasion I was able to put in 5 litres to the max mark on the dip stick... I quickly checked on goggle now and I found threads saying capacity 5.6 ... Probably best to rely on the dip stick mark... thanks for your comment 👍

Good video but your car has on the right hand side of the screen there was an Engine Light still on the screen even after you reset the system. Mine also has that light. Will engine service solve it or is it something else? Appreciate it

I know it's a bit late but if you just turn the car on without starting it, that engine light is always on. Only when you start the car will it disappear :)

The biggest headache is usually the resetting of the service light... why can't they have a universal procedure, like pressing the accelerator pedal 5 times in 5 seconds! =)

Thomas EXOVCDS couldn’t agree more Thomas, I tried everything with this one unsuccessfully, I believe some vehicle including this one have an oil quality monitoring system instead of a service mileage countdown ... 👍

1. Close all the doors 2. Press the accelerator pedal down and hold it down. Now Switch on the ignition. 3. Press the accelarator pedal up and down 3 times within 5 seconds. 3. Switch off ignition. Service/Oil light will be gone

To reset the service light you must put your foot on the brake at the same time as ignition and reset button then it will reset the service lightkk

I have one of these and it's the 2.0, shuld have got the 2.2. Worst car I have ever had and most probably ever will have it's just a black hole to throw money into.
