@@VK6AB- yeah I realize that Australia imposes a luxury tax on these kind of cars (you get what you vote for). But my meta point is all cars in the class will be taxed, so you’re overpaying relative to the US for most cars - not just the Carrera T

Not worth it at 300k, not even close. Mutton dressed as lamb as most long term Porsche buyers know and understand. This is a run out model before the release of the 992.2.

It’s $300K AUD. This reviewer is based in Australia. In the US this car is around $130K optioned

@@TheSunTheSea Thats right, the prices in Australia are exacerbated by the luxury car tax. Nonetheless, this is mutton dressed as lamb. More so when the buyer gets walked up the options list.

As Porsche continues to move the 911 toward a hybrid model with the 992.2 drop and then eventually an all electric 911, true Porsche enthusiasts will be seeking out this car. I'm promise you, instant classic. Long term Porsche enthusiasts and investors are still fighting for allocations in the states. All information leaks coming out about the 992.2 state that a manual transmission won't even be an option on the new model because of the placement of the gearbox. Why you would even purchase a 911 as an automatic option is beyond me but that is for another discussion. Mutton dressed as lamb? . . . Hahaha, definitely not. This is the purest form of Porsche expression left before the brand takes a jump into the deep end of an all automatic/hybrid lineup.

What’s the difference in what he said about the +2 rear seats? Other markets the addition of the plus 2 rear is a no cost option ... In Australia the seats come standard taking them out is the no cost option ? Means u get rear seats with all markets it’s just ur choice if u want them or not But I guess u must tick the rear seat option in other markets, while in aus u don’t & vice versa

Should have been the manual. A manual T is the right T. Otherwise just go for the S with more power and better brakes and more options.
