How to remove the Primary Account from Outlook

Perfect. Liked the vid. No one else knew how to sort this from the 50 or so pages I saw. I was getting corporate prompts for my old company, and couldn't remove that and it started crashing outlook on start up. Even a full reinstall didn't sort. This cleaned up everything. Thanks, in our situation we did not have the Named user under profiles in registry location, so I ended up deleting all the Hex number folders in there, then it deleted the user on its own (probably still somewhere in there) without that persistent cannot delete primary account. Thanks a million for the direction!

Hey Carson - When I go to Outlook under 16.0 (I am running 2016), the only folder available is Resiliency, even after I refresh. Any idea where Profiles would be?

This is just creating a new profile and setting up from scratch. You’re using Office 365 by the way. The registry part was not needed. Just create a new profile from within control panel.

You can do the same from the control panel Outlook option. Just delete the profile and make a new one. but the challenge is to remove the primary account while the secondary account is intact which attached to the same profile
