Superbe design but I disagree about the sound. I dislike the vacuum cleaner hiss that most modern cars tend to have (due to turbos and restrictive exhausts probably), and also the lack of responsiveness when revving up/down. On the other hand it is not a hardcore race car but a GT.

Great video! I work at a Maserati dealership in the US and we are expecting to get our MC20 by the end of the year hopefully, sticker price in the low $200k range. I can't wait to see what this thing does on track against it's competition! Anyone who complains about the MC20 having a V6 doesn't understand the reason they used it, weight. The Ford GT "only" has a V6 as well yet makes great power and won LeMans.

This is the first time that I have seen this car on KZbin. I've only seen pictures and completely forgot about it. I've never been a Maserati fan outside of the Gran Turismo because the interior looks so outdated for a car that cost so much it's ridiculous. But this new Maserati looks amazing

I Agee that one of the highlights is most certainly the sound of scrolls and those dump valves from the turbos. I don't want to put Porsche and Maserati in the same sentence as there is absolutely no comparison, but there is a small reminiscence of turbo scroll of the 935. Regardless, another great down to earth honest video Luke. Love your work! :)

I love the design on this car. One of very few mid-engined cars I actually like. But it doesn't sound like a Maserati should. It sounds good, but not like a Maserati. That V6 sounds awesome to me, the turbo sounds are an added bonus. Sorry to hear the steering was not the best. Tempted by preloved Maser sedans, just due to the rareness and sound......but the possible maintenance costs are challenging. Great video, coffee is always a good outro.

It's the best looking sewing machine I've ever seen...but really, I don't care for the sound of this thing. I guess I'm just used to the symphony of my naturally aspirated 4.7 V-8 Granturismo motor. I know the new thing is turbo charged V-6's for more bang for the buck/weight, but an aftermarket exhaust is a MUST for this car! Still a beauty though.

In terms of exterior it's the best looking out there, the interior isn't bad but is let down by some cheap shortcuts they took like the steering wheel and buttons. The exhaust can always be fixed via aftermarket like Novitec, so not a big deal.

The car looks gorgeous, it’s just a shame that Maserati engine sounds like it’s under a duvet. Imagine those looks with the Granturismo V8! Drool. The turbo’s make it sound a little bit like a 4c. OPF filters have really ruined the sound of engines the last year or two. Cannot argue how lovely it looks though. The Lotus Emira with the manual and V6 without turbo’s a great alternative at £60k 🤪
