I live in the mountains and i prefer smaller cars or hatchbacks or berlines, every single winter i ride up with my "city car" past range rovers, wolkswagen SUVs, ... stopped on the side of the road or stuck bang in the middle of it. Back when i had my 5k€ juiced up clio 2 i even helped unstuck a few 50k + € cars because it had the juice and a pulley system welded on the frame.

It does make me sad because from the 60s to the 90s, the defender was a beast at off-roading and it was reliable car. That’s why I love the old ones so much. Now, it’s just a tin can that rich moms from Beverly Hills buy, just to take down to Earwhon. Also, don’t expect it last over 20k miles 😂

I off road my Range Rover sport. It had 2 lockers on it. And love get it deep in sand mud and snow. A few times i used the front bumper as a snow plow. It does better than my f-250.

From the starting when I saw this car in person, I lnew it was TOO low for offroading, and yes, I'm aware there's air suspension, but still, the car just feels like its gonna be scraping the ground as soon as you decide to go on some trails, specially this 130 version, I feel the 90 is still much more capable than this longer wheelbase edition of the car.
