The catering cart is nice but as you said can only use it at private events on private property my state only allows I believe frozen hot dogs to be sold on an open cart no grill not sure about meat chili think that’s a no too I’m looking at saving up for an enclosed trailer burgers dogs tacos make what you want obviously once you add a griddle grill or fryer commercial hood and fire suppression is needed but the smaller hot dog carts enclosed you can just use the steak table griddle above the steam table like dock dawgs has or a crock pot pulled pork etc just need a mechanical fridge no coolers allowed only on open carts and drinks need their own seperate from the frozen dogs it’s an old system just like your city they haven’t updated anything then again most trucks are event or have a set location and open carts here are pretty much only Home Depot or small events don’t see them much anymore and can only vend with permission on private property maybe a town for an event but not for daily use their isn’t enough traffic for it anyways love the new series glad your back on KZbin

Great class. I have a feeling it will be a tough decision due to the health departments rules. I bet that also makes things difficult on what type of hot dog cart to buy.

The biggest factor is your budget. Once you narrow down a cart that fits your budget, you can download the schematics for free and send it to your health department for review. They will let you know if it would get approved or not, and they can tell you what kind of menu you'll be approved to sell with it (Hot dogs only, fried foods only, Fish, etc...)

Starting a wholesale business. Research have been done but I'm yet to import the products. The products I'll be working with are spices and produce. I've began talking to buyer about my products. I'd like to know if the purpose of talking to buyer is to know certain information or maybe securing a potential buyer. If it's the latter, what should I specifically ask? Please and Thank you
