Working on a YF off a 1952 IH dump truck. It look a little different. Only one hole on the bottom of the cast iron piece, other than the main hole for air to flow through.

@@MikesCarburetor There is a vaccuum advance that seems to work. The backfire through the carb seemed to stop when I hooked it up. (I forgot to connect that. LOL) But now it doesn't start at all. The compression seems low. So I think that's the problem. I loosened the spark plugs, so they were barely on there. I watched when I cranked it. Most moved a really small bit. When the fuel mixture would fire, it puffed out blue smoke from the threads of the loose spark plugs. So I think the little bit it ran, trashed what was left of the head gasket seals. It has been sitting for 15 year plus. I'm only visiting my mom for a little bit. So I don't have time, and my tools to rebuild the engine. So she is having me list it on ebay. The 1952 IH Dump Truck with a snow plow blade mounted on the front. I would do the work if I was here longer, had my tools, and it wasn't so dang cold out, here in Washington! I live in California. LOL

Hi mike my truck runs great and idles perect after warm. I seem to afto feather the gas untill its warm or it will die out. Ive come to the clonclussion the choke is opening too fast? What are you thoughts? And also its a carter yfa motocraft single barel

Can you add the electronic feedback system to a carburetor without it? Theres holes for it. Theres a big price difference

Where can I get a kit to bush the throttle shaft on a cast iron base? I'm getting air intrusion with throttle closed at idle.
