snow climates are dryer. A lot of people think it is damp. but it is dry. That is why it feels so much colder. the air is so thin it goes right though your clothes. My wifes family from Toronto calls it damp cold. I am like NOPE......I was in the Midwest it was 36 degrees Fahrenheit and snowing.....that was damp. All I needed was a sweatshirt didnt even feel cold to me.

I enjoy watching a dismantling ! I once disassembled two Willy's trucks and one Jeep wagon to make one Willys truck. Much "fun". Two trips with car trailer to get rid of scrap. People like to criticize when you scrap those old frames and such. Sometimes those old junkers need scraped !! I can't believe that old engine turned ! If that block is savable that will do someone some good .

I always recommend disassembly for all my projects. It makes disposal easier and can be done in small amounts weekly in my regular trash can, thereby avoiding dealing with the hassles of listing them for sale and all that goes with that. For fellas like myself who can't seem to stop dragging every pile of crap I find home, my wife finds it an effective way to handle the overflow. You putting yours back together in better shape than what you started with is another approach I hadn't considered.

I cut up my 1989 Ram50 (Mighty Max) for a similar reason. The scale master at the scrap yard asked when he saw it come in on the trailer all torch cut into sections "What Happened to your Truck" Since I am a large original Gone in 60 Seconds fan I promptly replied. "You know those parking lot attendants." That truck died to give another one life. So all was right in the end.

Clearly the extensions off the back of the cab are for a walk board. They must have just dipped the entire truck in a vat of yellow paint. Maybe it was an anti-theft procedure. I was planning on picking up my cab with a rack and a cherry picker and rolling the frame out from underneath it but your method looks much more fun. Thank you for the tip. We here at Lazy Hound Racing can't wait for more yellow things being restored and clearly the kids excited are too. When you get a taller garage maybe a lift is in your future? We wish you and yours the best and thank you for your time.
