Please tell me that all this foam work is just to make a “buck” for a future fiberglass bed. You can’t drive this on the roads. It’s not safe for you or other drivers on the road. I have been watching since before you brought the half a car up to the cab. I’ve never seen a builder use foam like you have. It’s not structural! I don’t know what else to say.

I have to replace the trunk floor ( rear ) on a Type 3 VW fast back that isn’t available in the aftermarket. Kyle here is taking 3 cars 2 trucks and some foam and making an entire vehicle. Welcome to the Kyle Carter Ginsu method of foam sculpting!! For the shocks stopping the rear from dropping far enough - since you used drop blocks, drop the upper mount the same amount. You need the shock to be near the middle of it's travel to work properly anyway. Don't worry about the length of the videos. You squeezed enough content into the time you had to make it worth watching.

The shocks mount to the lower spring plate, so the blocks have not changed their original travel. I'm not too worried about having to undo the shocks to change the tire
