The Sanda Tank is probably the best affordable Tank alternative. It's just got 2 downsides: 1. The case is metal alloy and not stainless steel. 2. It's an outright homage. But, so are the seikos.

I'm not sure about the quality of a Chinese watch. With Casio and Seiko you know the quality is there, but from what I've hward with Chinese products the quality is hit or miss and you're basically counting on luck if you'll get a good one

Just sold Carter Tank Louis for £3.5k Not realising what it was worth exactly. Not complaining though as my partner got the watch from a charity shop (thrift store) for next to nothing (£1 approx). @@tunakurucu7704 I love the bracelet on the world time but the digital and compass idk I think it will make me feel like someone camping dad. If I could take the bracelet from the world time and add it to the other Casio chronometer check recommended that might be perfect for me. Might looks like a watch sin though. Sucks knowing I'll probably never buy a watch over $300 I'm more of a keep it under $100 it it looks nice and holds up time and will last a long time if I take care of it. Thank you again I really like that bracelet on it. I'm not much of a watch guy. Know very little.

You should be able to find them under their timeless collection, it’s a pretty watch but do keep in mind that it’s rather small, especially so compared to the Seiko one.

I collect 40's and 50's Long ones tanks. I can tell you there (was) no better value than they were. Someone let the cat out of the bag, but if you are patient eBay has you covered.
