Cartier Tank Solo Small - Clasp review

This quick video is to show off the fantastic clasp found on the stainless steel Cartier Tank Solo small. The small tank solo pictured here is model number WSTA0030. This folding stainless steel clasp comes standard on this watch with the stainless steel case and leather strap. If you buy the solid gold version of this small tank solo it will come with a solid gold pin buckle, instead of a stainless steel folding clasp.

The Cartier Tank is an iconic watch that needs NO introduction. I just recv'ed my Tank XL 2 weeks ago and I have worn it every day and I never get tired of looking at the sunburst guilloche dial.

It have to be a very thin leather strap to fit that kind of clasp, because the tip of the straps have to be folded. It's a stressful thing to fold a strap which not thin enough to fit that clasp

The clasp is included with the stainless version of the watch. The gold versions come with a solid gold pin buckle instead

@@purpleliu7528 If you want the must with the clasp you have to buy the clasp and bands separately sadly. Cartier will do it for you the clasp is $300 and the bands are around $300 for a pair. The reason you need new bands is that only certain bands will go together with the clasp. I just had to go through this because I only wanted to get the must if it came with the clasp.

what I don't get is why Swiss made but this luxury expensive time piece is "French", shouldn't it be all "French" made clasp, leather band and all? I would feel cheated for some reason.

Cartier is a french brand, yes. But, the maison that makes the watches is located in Switzerland.
