Love the memories of watching Engineer Bill when I was growing up in 1950's and 60's Torrance Ca, My next door neighbor was on the show once too.

Although I was born and raised in Los Angeles in the sixties I never got to see Engineer Bill. However I sure did get to see many others such as. Sheriff John, Hobo Kelly, Shrimpenstein, Bozo, Webster, Romper Room, Wonderrama, Soupy Sales and Tom Hatten on KTLA ch 5. The of times!

I listen to old radio shows. Many of them have a station ID, mentioning Earle C. Anthony. His name is even a logo on the labels of the transcription discs.

The Handi Pie (Hostess Fruit Pie) was based on a concept that had been around for hundreds of years. I like a savoury version: the Cornish Pasty (beef potato, turnip, and onion, in a thick crust).

The snippet at 2:24 appears to be a Colonel Bleep episode, probably an episode believed to be lost. Did you cut the cartoons or were they already missing from the recording before you uploaded? (Copyright is expired so if you do post that piece of TV history, you won't get in trouble.)

I did not cut them. The kinescope was made without the cartoons.
