The show came out in 2008 in the US so in episode 1 it says "it's been 15 years since season 1" so that's why they waited so it fits with real life release of the show. I bet we don't get season 2 till next year

Now all we have is a few Teletoon capped episodes from a secondhand uploader and Nelvana's Keep it Weird, and Retro Rerun channels have done nothing to bring attention to this show with Grojband/Get ED alum Lyon Smith as the lead voice... As someone who watched the reboot (in Australia, it came out late 2023 over here), it was great, good two seasons, got a bit of politics into it which was a bit interesting, but good. What's funny was this aired on our free to air national broadcaster ABC on their children's channel ABC ME (older kids free to air network), and it hasn't appeared on cable over here yet. CN really likes waiting.

Once again CN shoots themselves in tbe foot while over relying on TTG which lead to their downfall to begin with. I'm not just ranting, CN Post Renissance era has been falling apart since, Cartoonito failed them yet TTG still basically rules the network while other shows get screwed over. Doesn't help that Zaslav doesn't like animation which is why he's been secretly axing shows in production

@@anthonykhan1676 You tell me 🤷‍♂️ The man has pretty much made it known while going out of his way to scrap and cancel FINISHED animated movies like the Scooby Doo and Justice League movie the fans had to basically pry that shit from WB and release it, He cancelled Scoob's sequel and it's Halloween special, I'm pretty sure Velma is still going due to contract obligations. Coyote vs Acme was also scrapped despite getting positive reception. I don't know if you haven't noticed it by now but Zaslav is clearly more willing to sacrifice an animated project than one based in Live Action whether it's finished or not he'd rather get a tax write off.

Sym Bionic Titan might be revived if Genndy Tartakovsky finds the time to do so because some execs at CN seem interested in reviving it. As for Megan XLR, I'm afraid that's gonna be difficult: CN has been using it as a tax write-off. But it seems to be airing in South America to this day so it might be possible.

I said this before and I’ll say it again, what SpongeBob is to Nickelodeon, Teen Titans Go is to Cartoon Network. TTG to me was CN’s downfall. This reboot was actually good but yet they over rely on TTG so much, it’s no wonder why their going downhill. This show was better than the shit reboots they made from the late 2010s to the early 2020s. I love the network and I want it to make a big comeback like they did in the 2010s because to me they’re the most consistent out of the three channels but this merger is ruining everything.

What’s interesting is that back then of the very first season of total drama island premiered at Canada back in 2007, while here in the US premiered one year later. So it’s basically what’s going on here for the reboot, the same thing. But I really hope to the total drama fans who really care about show’s future, should watch it even if they already seen it!
