My husband & I took our two munchkins who were 10 & 6 years old to the Sydney Film Festival in 2009(?) to watch (Brendan &) The Secret of Kells and we were all mesmerised & blown away, and have been fans of Cartoon Saloon ever since. ☮️💟 to you all for this fab interview.

Really informative talk from them. it's always fun hearing Nora Twomey explain the production side of things and the risky nature of it. Helps explain how and why animation is so difficult to pull off in a way that's not super cookie-cutter. Especially nice to know that Julian is still in the works alongside Moore's new film. Really hoping they both do well and reach out to audiences considering their subject matters! Hoping the artists who find themselves working for them are also doing well, things are especially rough in animation across the board.
