Cain became immortal in biblical history as he became a vampire by drinking the blood of Lilith There are stories that he had four monster children that he abandoned born in the same litter from Lilith. Because he was known for being a lover of lilith in order to trick her to drink her blood and become a monster He had six human children and 4 boys, Enoch, Olad, Lizpha, and Fosal 2 girls, Citha, and Maac And the rumored 4 monster children with Lilith that were born from the same litter named Tzimisce, Nosferatu, Ravnos, and Gangrel. One of them was a girl! (These were not confirmed, more or less rumored stories) Cain lived to be 730 years old before he died because he was a bloodthirsty monster. He actually became infertile after drinking liliths blood and becoming a vampire. Of course its mythology which changes pretty often through time. And no one knows. I definitely find it funny that christianity contained a vampire. But that could definitely be why there would be such of a different age of death. Especially considering christians believe the earth is less than 4000 years old. It definitely makes you wonder how lore accurate hazbin would be. Since its already pretty far off.

I'd theorized months ago that Zestial might be Cain. No idea if it'll turn out to be true, but I just thought it'd create a really cool dynamic between him and the people at the hotel if it turned out to be true. And a potentially REALLY cool dynamic with Adam if it turns out he's not permanently dead. Now that we know Abel will be a character, I think we can be certain that Cain is going to appear in the show somehow, regardless of whether it's Zestial or as a new character.

Even when Christ hallowed Hades and saved Sts. Adam and Eve, Cain chose to remain away from God. He is *the* archetype of the unrepentant sinner. I'm absolutely certain that he'd be the most powerful and ruthless of them all.

It’s weird, some denominations of Christianity and Judaism basically consider Samael to be analogous with Satan/Lucifer, and possibly Satan/Lucifer’s original name as an angel, whereas others consider him to be another angel entirely who is actually an avenging angel who acts as a hand of God to punish sinners. While others sort of consider him to be a hybrid of the two. However I think most likely Samael wasn’t originally the name of the Satan/Lucifer figure, but instead the name originally referring to this figure is Belial which we first see being a name of the devil in the Dead Sea Scrolls which r some of the oldest piece of Abrahamic literature, and his name fits the motif of all angel names ending in “-el” or “-al”

I wonder if Zestial represents a root fear of humanity; arachnophobia. Loads of people have it, and many have it bad. I feel like that could explain why so many sinners are terrified of him on sight, even going so far as to faint or light themselves on fire. (Lots of people still respond to spider photos with 'kill it with fire', maybe there's a link there?) As much as I think it'd be cool if he was Caine it really wouldn't explain the intense spider theming.

Personnally, I don't think Abel will seek outright revenge for Adam's as Lute already fills that role. He might be shaken and grow to dislike Charlie and her Hotel for a while, but once he understands the full context he would eventually let go if the grudge. That being said, I could see Lute manipulating him into fighting on her side to tip the scales, assuming his power is close to his father's.

Cain being an immortal in earth could work. In the live action series Lucifer, Cain was also portrayed this way. He's spent countless generations at first just doing everything he wanted. Then at some point grew tired of being alive, so he was trying to redeem himself and earn his death. And becomes a Homicide Detective when we meet him, ironically. Also in the show Abel is actually in hell because he was seen as a party animal. He never took things seriously and reveled in a life of sin.

Cain still being alive would open up some interesting potential story arcs where he’s the man behind the curtains, like perhaps he’s the one influencing the humans to be more sinful, or he may be who is giving the DHORKS all their funding since he would be one of the few people on Earth that would believe them about demon incursions. It depends whether modern Cain would be a scourge or protector to humanity. On the other hand him being dead would allow for some interactions with Abel and Charlie. For some reason I picture Cain being some sort of hermit who’s just been living alone chilling for millennia in a quiet part of the Pride Ring outside Pentagram City.

It makes sense to me for Zestial to be Cain, now. It would explain his vernacular, and spider like appearance. Maybe he wonders on earth still as a spider. Forever on the brink of death but can not be killed. It could also be assumed that Angel's family are descendants that he either doesn't know or care about. It would explain the addictions, etc. Side note* I do wonder if Alastor is greater than we know. I've only seen the Sins be able to ample themselves in size when angered. Even Charlie stays the same size. I haven't seen another Demon or overlord be able to do such a thing.

If Cain was still a human wandering the earth, it'd make more sense for him to appear in Helluva Boss rather than Hazbin Hotel, especially as a foil for how much more merciful I.M.P. has become as of late (Blitz would NOT kill his sister) not to mention how much more famous he'd be to sinners and hellborn demons alike, not just for nhaving comitted the first murder, but because he's essentially gotten away with it, but since Abel is set to appear in Hazbin Hotel, Cain not being there is an extremely wasted opportunity. The creators can't afford to discard this option. If it turns out Zestial is Cain, his long stay in Hell could be a side effect of his punishment as a wanderer, it'd make a sadistic sense for him to continue wandering Hell. Or, his Mark of Cain has kept him safe from the rampaging angels every year. The least likely option is that Adam has kept his hand over his eldest son, while the most likely is that he's cunning and resourceful enough to keep himself alive every extermination.

It does make some sense that Zestial could be Cain. There is really no telling how old Zestial is, what year he died on earth, and how long he has been making soul deals in hell(possibly a few centuries or so) and with Cain since he killed his brother and possibly died not long after thus ending up in hell(possibly the first sinner to end up in hell) and decided to change his appearance and his name so no one would remember who he was when he was alive. Could be a very good season if Zestial is really Cain in disguise and wanting revenge on Abel if he comes to the hotel. With Abel I can see him as Adam's half son-in the bible it says when Lucifer gave Eve the apple he took advantage of her and she became pregnant with Abel so he could be Lucifer's son and Adam just decided to raise Abel into believing he was his real father instead of Lucifer himself. I can see Abel leading a marching band(due to his uniform looking like a band uniform) and probably not knowing anything of the exterminations and Adam being who he is not telling Abel anything besides telling him all about Hell-in his own way by song- and Abel who seems like he would be a gentle soul and not wanting to question anything goes with what his dad says. I can see Abel and Emily being best friends in Heaven and Lute telling him what happened to his dad-song as well but with her twisting the story into the sinners and Lucifer killing his dad instead of telling him the truth and her persuading Abel into taking revenge against the hotel with Abel probably never been in any kind of war scenarios gets trained some by Lute , Abel not wanting to believe anything she says and not wanting to hear what all Adam lied about goes to Hell disguised as a sinner or a fallen angel bumps into Zestial(cain in disguise unknown to Abel) who fights him and Abel gets away and finds himself in front of the hotel, meets Charlie and after some time after getting to know of her plans and Lucifer and a few things Lute lied of to him, goes back to heaven-just before another extermination happens Abel confronts Lute about everything, she denies some of it and says a few insulting things to him, Abel flies away and Emily comforts Abel and reveals to him the whole truth to him-she shows him what happened and what led to his dad's death and they both team up and rush to get to the hotel just before the battle really starts up and Abel reveals the truth to everyone in song and decides to help protect the hotel and everyone in hell-emily helps to- Lute and the angel army comes, they all fight, Abel nearly gets killed by Lute but is saved by Emily and Charlie and Lute gets blinded and whatever is left of the army goes back to heaven with Lute along with them or she herself gets her wings taken away and is stuck in hell with everyone who hates her, Abel becomes good friends with Charlie and everyone in the hotel and even helps her dream of redeeming sinners and Zestial comes along and decides to "help out" with the plans for the hotel/sinners and reveals himself to Abel and a fight ensues leaving to a cliffhanger and next off to season 3?

I feel like Cain will play a larger part in the story, given he is one is one of the most infamous people in the Bible. I feel like ignoring him would do a disservice to Abel as I think his role will be important given Vivsie’s insistence on how long the series will go on for. I also think this’ll tie into Lilith’s story as well.

Adam was human and his character design includes ears, Abel was human and his design has ears. All the sinners were human once, but they don't have (visible) ears in their designs, excluding anyone that has animal ears. I thought this was a sinner thing, but no heavenly citizens have human ears either. So I wonder if Cain will end up having ears included in his design?

I still believe the theory about ""Lilith"" being Eve to be true. Looking at photos between the "'Lilith"" at the end of season 1 and the Lilith in family photographs, you can see stark differences between the two. I genuinely believe that at some point Adam and Eve kidnapped the real Lilith at some point in Charlie's childhood and Eve posed as her in exchange for being allowed back into Paradise since she was casted out for eating the apple of knowledge. I think if Adam reappears in hell as a sinner, in order to be redeemed and allowed back into heaven, he may turn on Eve and sell her out to Lucifer.

Cain could live as an immortal among humans and work with Lilith. Cain could have shown Alastor how to use dark magic during his lifetime for later service. And Lilith could then have helped Alastor become an Overlord. Both Cain and Lilith would have reasons to wish Adam dead. (He was a ... husband and certainly an almost equally bad father.) In addition, both could strive for a change in the current rules of heaven, earth and hell. Cain is doomed to live forever and can therefore never go to heaven or hell even if he wanted to. And Lilith didn't really have a choice either. Roo could also play a role in the plan of the two or be the mastermind. It's also clear why they're only starting now. It took some time to find a suitable person like Alastor and until Charlie was born, Lilith only had to worry about herself. Maybe Lilith even believed at the beginning that she would be able to change the rules without help.
