I think Doll’s death was sad but also fitting. She had good intentions in the end but was uncaring as she hurt those around her. She isolated herself believing she didn’t need help, choosing to always go alone no matter the options - and then she was faced with a situation similar to how Uzi faced Tessa/Cyn, but there was no N to save her, resulting in her untimely demise. Tldr: She lived alone she died alone

I had never thought of Doll in this way. Your statement that Doll would be the "Shadow the Hedgehog" of this series makes a lot of sense. Well the parallel is there, it's no secret, it was always there. Doll is the representation of Uzi if she had gone to a "dark side". Even if we think about it, Yeva and Nori's interactions would be how things would have been if Doll and Uzi had worked things out and teamed up to face the Absolute Solver. It's really sad how things ended up for her, as it was her desire for revenge and her stubbornness in teaming up with Uzi that took her to a "darker" place.

2:30 I don't think it's use that allows the AS control, it's emotional trauma that does, along with oil. For doll, watching her parents die was what activated it, for Uzi, it was her father leaving her for dead. it grew in Uzi when encountering the rouge a.i. for the first time, and fearing being all alone or losing N. Doll didn't give as much, but it was enough for the absolute solver to try something, and doll stopped it.

While possible, I think that it was more of the fact that N was actually nice to her (most worker drones didn't seem to be) when she had initially destroyed his head and even showed her some kindness and compassion in episode 1. Even to the point of switching sides, he also seemed to put her safety and well-being ahead of his own in the first episode and afterward, in my opinion, that was what caused Uzi to befriend N not that she couldn't kill him. he gave her something that she needed deep down but was unable to gain from other worker drones aside from maybe 1 or 2. She may have realized this on a subconscious level at first, while consciously realizing that he could help her achieve her goals at least at first.

I think there is a tiny little chance that her heart managed to escape, which would mean that she can return either as Nori did, or as the monster J turned into but without Cyn's control.

This is more than just explaining Doll's side of the story but also, the differentiation between Uzi's and Doll's points of view. As a side note, I honestly think Doll deserves to be revived in some way so that she has a chance to redeem for dying for nothing and killing for nothing. Doll has quite the potential for further character development imo, and just leaving her off as a side character is a bit sad, I think.

Doll was my favorite character, I was kinda disappointed by her death. Hopefully her core is somehow still alive inside Cyn, and she could get barfed out or claw her way out of Cyn’s stomach. Her death just felt rather abrupt and the fact that Glitch released a figurine of her on the same episode as her death makes me feel like she has a small chance to come back by having her core being freed either through her clawing her way out of Cyn or if the solver is defeated maybe all the consumed drones get freed. She probably had the most brutal death in the series, second only to Tessa. Literally gutted like a fish and had to shamble over to the church for minutes on end while her guts were spilling out just to warn Uzi, and then when Cyn ate her core the core was squirming around. RIP (probably)

Wow... l never really considered Doll to be this tragic. I mostly perceive her as just an obstacle for the main gang to defeat . But after watching this video, it made me really appreciate her character and her journey to this story even more, especially in her final moment. As a sadist (with empathy, I wouldn't even think to do anything to anyone in real life), Murder Drones' horror elements are satisfying to watch for me. I'm grateful that such a show exists. A lot of sadistic representation in media is very over the top and inaccurate, portraying sadists as awful people who have no filter and take joy in constantly mistreating people physically and emotionally. And I mean, some people can be like that, but they're not the majority. Sadists who lack empathy and do hurt people are more noticeable. They end up being talked about in media, and then the public thinks that all sadists are like this. But the truth is that most sadists aren't that noticeable. Most of them have empathy too, they are able to control themselves and don't want to actually hurt anybody. They blend in society just fine and they aren't really noticed or talked about. Like me. But that stereotype about sadists that puts them all in the same bag is harmful, and it erases empathetic sadists' existence in the eyes of the public. I researched sadism on Google and most the sites explaining what it is said sadists are inherently violent and harmful which, if you paid attention to what I said, isn't necessarily true. During my research, little to no sites I found said something like "But not all sadists are like that, a lot of them have empathy as well". And even the few who appeared more nuanced didn't say it super clearly either. That's why I think that Murder Drones' sadistic representation is great. It can not only be enjoyable for sadists to watch, it also shows they're not just heartless monsters. Doll it's obvious, but Uzi also has these sadistic tendencies. It seems that their sadism comes from the Absolute Solver, which does seem to take joy in consuming humans, drones, and even entire planets. But unlike Doll, Uzi manages to not act out on these tendencies. Most of the time at least, episode 4 exists after all. But when she regains control, she's distraught by what she has done. She's still an empathetic and good person, as said in the video. Murder Drones has one of the most if not the most nuanced and accurate sadistic representation out there and I love it for this (and many other reasons obviously). And for the sadists who do feel like they want to hurt real people, shows like Murder Drones can give them their fill and make it like they don't actually hurt real people. Kinda like the way violent video games can help them fulfill their fantasies in a fictional world where there are no consequences instead of in real life.

i think the reason for Doll having total control of the absolute solver and no losing control like Uzi is because Uzi is the absolute solvers host

could be that, since the solver (seemed to have) had more control over Nori (we don't know how Yeva was before she got the patch), that the Solver was able to more easily corrupt Uzi, despite Doll having been using the Solver for longer (can't be that Yeva got the patch while Nori didn't, because they both got the patch before the core collapse)

Doll's my favourite and I hate how she pretty much had no purpose besides creepy antagonist and lore progression. She did like, nothing. I dunno why she was so hyped up and had hints of a larger plot based around her, only to die before anything large happens. It sucks. I can only hope Yeva is still alive somehow and brings Doll back, but that's unlikely. I really don't get what Doll even did for the series, I wish she had a bigger role.

Doll only killed her classmates so v can go to prom and take revenge for her parents by killing her, you can tell because she was holding a piece of paper with a list of prom contestants, and the reason she laughs when she kills her classmates is possible because she was going crazy or she knew she was getting close to revenge. I always love these kinds of parallels where choices really dictate the final fate of the characters, and indeed it’s so sad that Doll killed so many just to wind up alone and killed in the end.😢 I liked her as a character too and I’m sad she died, but I’m glad we got to learn why she was able to control the Absolute Solver better than Uzi.😊 Too bad the patch is gone now.😥

While I partially agree with you, she did kill a lot of drones and showed little to no regret or remorse for doing so to the point that it seems she thinks that the end result justifies the way she gets to it even if it means she has to murder a bunch of innocents to do so. She also doesn't seem to care about using others to achieve her goals as she seemed to do to Lizzy and possibly other "friends" she may have had.

Doll is the most tragic character in the series to be honest. She was "born" with a "curse", that is the AbsoluteSolver. Seeing on how Doll easily kill those around her without hesitation and Uzi losing control during her initial investigation and discovery of Cabin Fever, I believe the AbsoluteSolver slowly corrupts those who use it mentally into psychopaths. Doll embraces it, while Uzi fought it and she eventually won. Doll either gave up or was too weak to fight the influence, so she embraced it fully. All Doll does is typical broken character. V killed her parents. She wants revenge, that is why she attacked during prom, but was defeated. In the end, she wants to find the patch to cure herself from the curse. But due to her unwillingness to work together with Uzi, a person she knew also has the same curse as her, it resulted in her dying and never achieving her goal. A death that is of agony and terror, all alone forever forgotten deep within the abyss of Cabin Fever labs.

Hopefully that's the case and Doll pulls a J, because J also had her core destroyed and thus fully died, but still lived thanks to having a clone backup with her memories.

5:08 It looks like Doll was roughly the same age as now so it could have been a few years ago and not when she was an infant. Why they were outside at all? No idea.
