If you want a series that's based off of mythology then I recommend Betsy Lee's series No Evil which is about a group of anthropomorphic entities known as spirits trying to deal with four items known as the four Tezcatlipocas. It draws from the same well of mythology as Onyx Equinox but it’s set in a world inspired by the late 1800s

I did some research. Apparently the Ars Goetis are not all owls only Stolas is. The Ars Goetia are 72 fallen angels were part of Lucifer’s army when he went to war with heaven,They’re all different and based off of creatures from different mythologies

Indie gaming is just as strong as its always been. And shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Upcoming projects like the Plucky Squire, Penny's Big Breakaway, and Billie Bust Up all look promising. 👌 And presumably, the next TWO chapters of Deltarune might come out this year! THAT will be a big deal whenever that happens. It's a great time for the little guys.

Probably not, we had the hazbin premiere when that was going on, and more hazbin videos start with the new episodes tomorrow. I honestly really don't like Sonic Prime and generally hate talking about things I don't like much. My vision of Sonic is just outdated at this point and the sonic franchise isn't for people like me, but I was obsessed with it up until about 06.

Genuine question: Why are the two creation accounts in Genesis 1 and 2 considered mutually exclusive here? The verses, out of context, don't really seem to provide any evidence for this claim. Could this not just be a retelling of the same events with more detail? We know that the patriarch Moses wrote the book of Genesis because it is part of the Jewish Pentateuch. This apparent contridiction could very easily be a common literary trope that is seen very frequently in giving a "hook" and basic synopsis before getting into the actual details of what happened-this type of writing is also commonly seen in academic settings. After reading the passage in Genesis 2 in more context, it seems that Moses is just providing a setting for the Garden of Eden, and (to me), I don't see any evidence pointing to the conclusion that these are two separate and exclusive accounts, especially with Genesis 2 starting with the conclusion of the events of Genesis 1 being the "God Rested" portion of the creation account. Again, I mean no hatred by this; I just want to know the reasoning behind the claim.

The accounts essentially contradict each other, telling things in different orders while also being claimed in that tradition to be the perfect words handed directly from God that he would be considered a fool to change. They're also just clearly written by two different authors, and one of them was a song that had non-song elements added to it indicating it was changed over time before being combined with the other creation story. this confused the original authors enough that other texts like the book of Jubilees would combine the two stories, making Adam born on day six so then go into the garden. I'm not really a fan of trying to argue against literalist interpretations, particularly of oral traditions such as who wrote the Bible instead of what's in the Bible itself.
