The developer of this game is a genius. He does really clever things with the AI. For instance, when a player is taken over by the mask, the AI zombie doesn’t just immediately charge. It stops as soon as it sees another player, and waits for a moment before charging. This creates so much more uncertainty and tension, it’s just a brilliant touch.

the gate lowers because youre tricking the game into thinking youve gone back and forth between ship and building a ton of times. theres an invis trigger you keep activating and it drops after a certain number of times. you and h2o going in circles made it happen faster.

46:17 They should definitely use next time to help them retrace their steps, see in the dark & mark dead ends (like the glowsticks from Labyrinthine, or the chalk from Sleeping Dawn). It would probably also be a good way to mark the fire exits (i.e. if they go in thru the outside & mark it so they know which is real 42:47), but I'd understand if that takes the fun out of it for them.

I'm also curious how that works since the layout of the facility changes from one day to the next (it might acc be useful for markings for stuff like the fire exit & main entrance to stay tho if those are gonna be same each day). It also comes in 4 different colours (red, green, purple & yellow), so they could use a different colour each day. The colours you get are random tho, & you have to buy them separately to get the different colours - if you order them in bulk they'll all be the same colour.

Seeing that Nutcracker with a shotgun is more terrifying than most of the monsters(including the Bracken). Because that NUTCRACKER has range and can shoot you at a further range. Also, the disturbing alarm-like sound it makes while stomping with a rhythm sounds so terrifying, especially when it just stops stomping and y’know it’s about to blast.

I believe that mask is a reference to an SCP. In SCP lore there's a mask that if you get in a certain proximity of it, it can cause you to practically become a brainless zombie and lure you in so that you grab it and wear it. Once you wear it, it possesses you.

A tip for Nutcracker (and yes, they instant kill you if you got close to it in certain way, like it namesake with a kick) Some things before fighting the nutcrackers, they can only be damage when it opens it's eye and also don't get too close or they'll kick you into the other side of the building also they reload after every 2 shots you could use this for get some hits or escape from them, i dont remember how fast they are but you can outrun them most of the time. (Forgot yo mention you actually can survive a shot if you are either far away or just some of your body is sticking out of your hiding spot) sorry for the long comment

I looked it up, apparently the gate has a CHANCE to close. every time someone moves under it there is a chance it would close behind them. You have four chances before you either get locked in or out, and then the only door you can use to actually leave would be the fire exit.
