My wife and I have been doing craft and decorative art and wood carving since the 70s. Those are not imperfections, they are opening where the angels enter your work. Perfect is poured in a cast, but its lifeless without a soul. With the angels inside your work its alive.

How deep are the recesses on the back of the arm. They look as if they’re about a 16th of an inch or so. Is that deep enough for most of the depth on CARVING’s?
