Doug - I really have learned a lot from watching your videos. I've been carving almost 3 years, and I think that if any of us carve for any length of time we find the need to expand our horizons. Thanks for inspiring me!

Same with me. I started carving few years ago and have learned so much from these videos. I am certainly no expert by any stretch of the imagination but have picked up so much new info watching these vids. Thank you Doug for posting and I hope you don’t stop any time soon. Cheers

Doug Thank you so much for doing this video! I was a lil disappointed when the question wasn’t came up on the podcast and you thought it was a bit off the subject of carving so you didn’t go into detail. So generous of you to now go a step further and take us on the tour! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Nice set up Doug. I'm not a carver but I have been a subcriber to your channel for quite awhile and I like your carving videos, but I am a fly tier and I could easily incorporate some of your ideas and the way you have things set up into my fly tying bench so thankyou for the inspiration.

Hey Doug great videos. In a couple of your vids I think I have seen what looks like a mummer on one of your shelves. I live in Newfoundland and mummering as seen a big come back over the past few years, we even have a mummer parade in St. John’s usually just before Christmas. Just wondering if you would consider doing a tutorial on carving a mummer if you haven’t already. I and I’m sure a lot of others would love to see you carve one. Cheers

I have ordered my first carving knife should be with me before December so I can't wait. I can see plenty of fire wood for 12 months. However I will stick at it and 🤞🏻I make something am happy with. Thanks for your information and brilliant vids I have plenty of references to look at.

Hi Doug. Just wanted to mention that there are also canvas carving aprons available online. One I saw has a large pouch on front to catch wood chips and one side of pouch is Velcro attached for easy disposal. Etsy. Just an FYI. No affiliation.
