As you all know the west coast had a visit from Hurricane Hilary and of course that affect my car wash business. Terencheral rain means no one is washing their car and means lots of mud for me to clean up in the following days. But in saying that the days at the car wash following all that rain means dirty cars and I should be very busy so even though I didn't make much money during the storm days I will certainly make up for it in the following week.
After working for my Uncle for 2 years at he's car washes I really wanted my own and I came across this car wash. It was completely shutdown for many years so I approached the owner of the land and made a deal with him.
It took me 6 weeks to bring it back to life and open it and now the customers are starting to pour in. Not to mention I opened it during winter so I am yet. to see its full potential but here's a small taste of how its going so far!

Drill a couple holes in the yellow dustpan near the handle and wrap cable ties around it so it doesn't fold up. It's so much easier to use that way.

Some of that rain even made it all the way inland to us in the Mountain West. Slowed down the washing but just gave us some time to catch up on maintenance.

Chris buddy, car wash near me had the same problem, so they installed heavy metal trash bins. Man I tell you what. It made a great difference.

Would be nice. Just sucks because of 1 homeless person I have to fork out hundreds possibly thousands on metal bins. Hard to justify.

I like the mr foamer flat top dual leg canopy you listed. The POS conversions on the wash select 2 are amazing if you havent seen them also. Remodeling the IBA entrance further could be awesome.

TSS makes the best car wash signs but be prepared to bust out the checkbook. You get what you pay for though. People notice the quality.

Lock your bins to the ground so they can't turn them over. It won't stop them, but they will make far less mess.
