I drove Ukraine's crazy off-road monster!

This is the SHERP N 1200, and it just might be the craziest, most hardcore off-world car in the world!
Now based on performance stats alone, you may not think the SHERP sounds that impressive. After all, it’s powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that can produce 55hp and 190Nm of torque. In terms of weight, it also comes in at around 2,200kg.
However, don’t let the stats deceive you - the SHERP can handle even the hardest of off-road terrains… So of course, Mat’s going to put it to the test!
We’ve lined up a series of four challenges for Mat to put the SHERP through. It’ll start off with a muddy trail with deep ruts, followed by driving over a field that’s covered in logs and tree stumps. Following that it’ll be put to the test on a lake where it can FLOAT on water, and finally it’ll drive up a hill covered in boulders!
The ability of this vehicle has to be seen to be believed! The only question is, will Mat break it?! You’ll need to keep watching to see for yourself!

I believe it's started as a russo-Ukrainian project under the name of Sherp. Then, the Crimea and Donbas stuff happened, and Ukraine kept developing it, though I've heard the russians wanted to keep the work going on, too. Don't know if they succeeded. Good to know my country did not bury this project. And I am REALLY surprised you have that wheel tank in the UK. Well, I thought it was a vehicle for rich guys just to have fun. When I saw it a couple of weeks ago saving people after Kahovka dam catastrophe, I was surprised again. It works. It saves. And we, Ukraine, do have them. And now this video. Thanks for it, btw! These are amazing. They've come quite a way since I first started seeing reviews in like 2018-19 interior wise. They're just so robust. A simple tool bag in the back and some diesel cans..you're at ease for weeeks. I wonder how much gas is used just idling for the heat if youre camping out in it?

Thats pretty cool, the steering would do my head in, be good if you could just set the rpms, on a dial , and have foot plates on the travel leavers, but that's probably just the digger operator in me talking! I'd find that so much easier!

which was produced by a Ukrainian enterprise in St. Petersburg and Kiev, after the war, the Ukrainian company withdrew all patents and production rights in Russia, but the Russians did not care about international patent law (which is not news) and continue to illegally produce Sherpas at the former Ukrainian enterprise in St. Petersburg, but legal production continues to produce Atlases in Kiev for the international market, modified and improved, for example with a full steering wheel. Read smart articles, you Russian, and don't watch a KZbin video from 2015, where Sherpas were presented at an exhibition in St. Petersburg
