No, not really. Difference is very small, well within the margin of error, and the braking distances at 70mph is mostly dictated by tire friction. Most modern cars (as they are known in the UK), have relatively similar braking distances despite weight differences. This was quite within expectation and what is normal.

It does everything a truck is for better. It's as plan Jane as u can get. Elon was just able to make it work because tesla fans seems to think anything he makes is the future. Have u seen the audi actisphere? THAT IS THE FUTURE. Even the hummer ev is way better looking espicially in black or orange. Higher payload towing, more RANGE, better offroading with extract mode, and better interior. It does everything a truck is for better. While also weighing 9,600 lbs and going 0-60 in 3 Seconds. 😂 unless u get the beast mode cyber truck its not even close to as good.

I would bet the hummer is limited to 106 by its tire speed rating.. aggressive all terrain tires typically have lower speed ratings, and most manufactures will electronically limit top speed to the rating of the factory tires.

When I first saw the Cybertruck when it was announced I literally thought it was a joke, I thought it was insanely ugly and silly-looking, not just the angular shape but the proportions and everything else about the aesthetics. Seeing it now, I couldn't have been more wrong, in the real world it looks much better. It really grows on you, something happens in your brain and you suddenly "see" it the way it's meant to be seen, you understand the intent of the design and it suddenly looks awesome. This video does a great job showing it. It's a similar thing to the Model 3's lack of grille, at first everyone thought it looked ridiculous, now it looks natural and that fake grille they used to do on the Model S looks ridiculous. Tesla just does bold designs that shock at first, but once you "get" it, you love it.

The Cybertruck grows on you because the design is based on a simple and classic triangle. The shape is extremely familiar, just not in car design. What's not to like once you become comfortable with the new application of a classic shape?

It's always useful to have side-by-side comparison data to get a sense of the car landscape, so, thank you for putting them up. What I think you can do differently/better in your videos, is to add a length bar as a percentage of the benchmark, to show what is higher or lower than the other (like when they do tennis player match statistics) like at 2:40, which is a more intuitive way of making sense of the data at a first glance without having to look at numbers just yet. When you have the floating numbers above the cars, put them in them in a percentage-of-a-circle, like at 2:43?

The reason the 911 lost to the CT in that video is because they used a base 911. If they used a turbo S LW that does the 0-60 faster than the plaid, it would get absolutely smoked. Even the GT3 RS would smoke the CT, and any other Tesla that’s not a plaid.

@@cyruslupercal9493 Normally a truck is body on frame and the body is just carried around (doesn't add anything much to the strength - and also why there needs to be a gap between the bed and the cab to allow room for twisting). The Cybertruck has two huge aluminium castings (one front. one rear) and the battery bolted between them is structural. The stainless steel outer body is much thicker than normal and the skin is contributing to strength instead of just being carried around.

Awesome race, Just fun antics too. You can see the it's all about weight for the win w/the CT. Both cars very consistent. At 320 max range, likely 300 while the Hummer is now at 380, you'd need the range extender to equal the weight between the 2 & I'm sure it'll be a pretty close race. Would be cool to get the GM guys in on this, can't trust those Telsa engineers being shady and adding a couple other param changes aside from the mph unlock (change suspension, battery life/C, safety, regen for the sake of drag racing). But all in good fun!
