Not a fan of the outside but the interior is amazing. And THANK YOU for figuring out how to float an infotainment screen that doesn't look like someone forgot to design a space for one so they just slapped a tablet on the dash and called it a day. Also as a motorcycle rider screens in cars make them death machines. At least this one has the display up as high as it can be keeping the outside world closer to where people are looking. I really do like the interior.

So happy to see someone that thinks like me. Sticking a fat screen with thick bezels on the dashboard looks like the car wasn't built with the Screen in mind and they just stuck some CRT TV on it. This actually looks like it was intended to be built like that, and the "floating" design makes it look so futuristic and artistic with the shadow below it, like it's a hologram levitating in front of you. We've also had bezelless and thin-sided TV's, Monitors and Phone screens for literally DECADES, except in the car industry where displays look like from 2005. I had to argue with someone because I said I hate the tablet stuck on dash design, but when I like designs like this he said "well you said you didn't like it first, now you like it". Well no it's not the same. Yes both are sticking out but one is seamless and integrated, the other is just bad design.

I've noticed car reviewers complain about how Stellantis EV brakes work but that is only because they don't stick with the car for very long and are driving so many cars for their job. As someone that drives an e208, you get used to this braking very easily and it becomes REALLY GOOD for controlling which kind of braking you use, as it starts off with stronger to maximum regen before the discs kick in.

@@reececollison5101 FYI that 1.2 Pure Tech will be the new generation with 136 BHP (previous 130 BHP) and timing chain instead of timing belt and numerous improvements. Bye bye issues. And as far as Hybrids (there will be one with 1.6l 4 cylinder engine). I know this is from the new 5008 III but it pretty much appilies to 3008 III aswell: ..."A full range of electrified powertrains. To support its customers in their transition to full electrification, Peugeot also offers the new E-5008 with a hybrid engine. The Peugeot E-5008 Hybrid 136 e-DCS6 features the Peugeot HYBRID 48V system, which consists of a new-generation 136 hp petrol engine coupled with a dual-clutch six-speed gearbox that incorporates an electric motor. Thanks to a battery that recharges while driving, this technology offers extra torque at low revs and a reduction of up to 15% in fuel consumption (5.8 l/100 km in WLTP mixed cycle). In urban driving, the new 5008 Hybrid 136 e-DCS6 can operate up to 50% of the time in 100% electric zero-emission mode. The new 5008 expands its range of powertrains with the introduction of a Plug-In Hybrid (195 e-DCS7), which combines a 92 kW electric motor with a 150 hp internal combustion engine. Its high-capacity battery allows it to reach a range of over 80 km when driving in 100% electric mode. This version is equipped with a 60-liter fuel tank, enabling it to boast a record-breaking range." www.netcarshow.com/peugeot/2025-e-5008/

It's big and heavy. Quite honesty a second hand E class 5.5 V8 or a 4.0 for half the price would do nicely thanks or a powerful 5 Series Bmer. It does not have to be a M5 as they can can go wrong from time to time and cost a lot at that point. Yes these cars cost a lot to run. The Mercs especially the 5.5 V8 have a bullitt proof engine. The Bmers are good as well. With the 20k plus you save on buying this you can run those cars and have a lot of fun in your life with cars that have already done a lot of their devaluation unlike this thing. This is why Matt brought a old Porche Cayenne for 7k and when he want wanted a electric car for a local runaround he brought a leaf for £1500.00. He is not stupid. Used to be a accountant.

£50 k is totally acceptable for such car since Peugeot has so massively improved since 2014. If you think that's still Peugeot from the 90s, then you couldn't be more wrong. Frankly I don't see Peugeot being inferior to VW in any way. Excellent build quality, stunning futuristic design, and look at those interiors. You think you are going to get all that for £20k ?? Don't like it ? Go buy Audi for £100k.... Peugeot is the thinking man's choice.

Sorry, but you can't just brush over the fact that the steering wheel obscures the dash. I've just spent 4 months in a brand new 308, and i love so much about the car (& it's a really good-looking car too), but that wheel-screen design cock up means both me and my wife (who's also been driving it) can't wait to see the back of it. The stupid and loud road-runner 'NEEP, NEEP' noise when you lock the car is dreadful too. Shame, because it's 80% a great car. Oh, and the worst stop-start/auto gear box combo of any modern car!
