At least for country side, we need the Hyundai Inster Cross , the AWD and better ground clearance for off road version of the same car, but that would mean basically no extra boot space aside from a sliver where you put just the charging accessories, because the back electric motor has to go somewhere. with 15%-30% better ground clearance, AWD wit an extra back motor that is active at low speed, up to 33 mph(53 km/h) for off-road control, then after that it disconnects the electronic clutch leaving the back free and engaging back at 31mph(50 km/h)... For winter and mud control ... Next gen should also include the in line 4 engine generator for an extended range EV (hybrid but the engine only creates electric power for winter and longer distances) , like Edison motors and the Scout Motors Traveler.

Yes the 'Casper' name is not used outside of Korea. I don't know if the popular idea that copyright laws prevent it from being used is correct. 'Casper' is not just the name of a friendly cartoon ghost. It's also an actual word with meaning. It means 'treasurer' in Aramaic and comes from the word Gizbar which is ancient Chaldean. The Chaldeans were a Mesopotamian civilisation that ruled Babylon from the 9th to the 6th Century BCE. Therefore the word has been around a lot longer than the cartoon and as part of a language I doubt it can be copyrighted. Who would own the copyright on a word that is a 2,925 year-old relic of a dead civilisation?

I really liked that, the fabric on the seats, the back seats move to the rear, enough boot space when you need it and some physical buttons. Range is enough for a commute. I'd buy one if I had the cash.

That car feels like the first Twingos, just a good small car, to make a bit of camping, festivals and other stuff like that. Just the prize is a bit too high for it beeing an interesting offer for young people and looks a bit too big on the outside.
@martin-17642 ай бұрын
thought the same about the size. But apparently it's between the i10 and i20. Not lots of smaller cars left on the market...

The thing they did with the rear seats should be in more cars. I love the size, the price, the buttons, the rear seats. The only thing that ruins it for me is that you can't tow anything.

Hold your horses there. This is competing with the Citroen e C3, Fiat grande Panda, Renault 5, the VW ID2 and whatever the cheaper Skoda will be called. It’s going to be a very busy market in a couple of years. In my view, this is more practical than the others but the R5 and Panda have it beat on style.

Got to experience this car a few weeks back at Everything Electric show (previously Fully charged Show) and from my time with it, its a proper iconic nugget. Hyundai are already offering test drives. Its a shame Carwow don't have a public show like Fully Charged do, to physically experience the past 12 months of reviewed/ Drag raced cars in one place !

Really don’t like manufacturers putting the charge port on the front. Should either be where the petrol cap would go or at the rear somewhere. Should be promoting reversing INTO spaces, not reversing OUT of spaces

Front is the best place for the charger port, no reversing (so many drivers cant), no worries about which side of a shared charger you need, just drive up - and at night, if the location's lighting isnt great - you have your headlights.
