I owned that LS 430 for several years in the high mountains of Colorado. Even with summer tires, it was well behaved during the months where your tires would never touch road (only several inches of packed snow and ice). It was also quite capable of driving on dirt forest service roads almost as bad as what you just tested. What's more, if you turned off the ASR, you could drive a hundred yards forward with the car 45 degrees sideways... it was buttery smooth and easy to feather. Last, it started without fail, including on an unusually cold morning where the temperature was -45 degrees. Everything about that car, including the factory Mark Levinson audio system, was top notch. Did I mention it got 28 MPG on the highway?

Most of the rust is actually on the b pillar trim, other than that you can see the odd "spider web" under the paint. For what I paid, I quite like it. I've never owned an s class before. When money realizes that is in good hands, it wants to stay and multiply in those hands, if you really want to make points out of money you've got, you have to take it out of your savings account

i do miss my LS430. This reminds me of one time we drove our 2WD Chevy Avalanche into the mountains (Southern California) in the winter. Getting there was fine. In the morning the driveway had frozen over, and my rear wheels were unable to get traction to drive up from the cabin to the road. However, an old towel came to the rescue and we drove off. I do want to know where they found these cars for $1200.

All of these cars birthed themselves very similarly. This is not a test of cars, but of drivers.

YEAH FINALLY A VIDEO WITH my old grandma Lexus from 2003 but still really nice. Door almost closed but didn’t get it all the way? The little motor thingy pulls it in! And also, if you can’t find your where to put your seatbelt at night, instead of going to press the light on, Nup, a light on that thing. AWESOME. And has a fridge. In the back. It’s not much, but you can get it in the Aussie Toyota Sahara Land Cruiser 300 series for 125,000 aussie dollars. So yeah. THANK YOU CARWOW
