Breaking distance isn't about breaks as much as it is about weight to tire area and tire stickyness. It is really hard to balance, you have to be certain weight and have certain tire width.

@@chrisogrady28 I know that. I drive a 2016 A3 2.0T "Quattro", which is essentially the sedan/saloon version of a Volkswagen Golf GTI. Unlike the GTI though, it can actually send some power to the rear wheels.

The weight is not as important as you would think. Fully loaded truck can stop in a shorter distance than empty. Because more weight gives you more traction. You just need brakes which are strong enough to get to the limit of tyres.

Volvos are underrated. For me the prettier premium with audi. Also we have two and zero problems. Also, tbh bmw is just good for straights. In circuits their M4, M5 have the same lap time than a porsche panamera or cayman

No it should not. Difference in brake distance like this is always close if weight and traction is close. The differences in m3 brakes is only shown on the track when it all gets hot and starts to fade. So once again now Volvo and Crv are not inpressive at all

Yes, design is awesome, but then you jump in it and you feel like you're in the tin, very "cagy" interior. I was thinking about getting one, but the amount of space in the 508s cabin is ridicullously low and same goes to the volume of the boot. A bit of a shame to be honest, that's the best looking estate in the class by far, but the 1.6 for 70 k €...

The GR is not about drag racing, it’s about when you are rolling, the immense grip and handling and brakes is what makes it so much faster on A and B roads than almost anything on the road.

This was such a fun video! No one does car reviews like Matt! In terms of the Yaris, I've never liked them, they always were of a "last resort" for me. But Toyota have truly outdone themselves with this new Yaris, and I never thought I'd be saying this but, it may possibly be one of my favorite new Toyota's!

5:20 the reason it lowers the revs and brings it back up is that it's faking gears, not all 1 speed gearboxes (CVT/eCVT) do this.

I have the Skoda vRS myself, not suffered much with the infotainment system but it hasn't been perfect. I noticed that stupid noise myself when I was giving it some beans over the hartside pass. You can turn it off (it resets to on eveytime you start the car) but it makes sod all noise outside! Still for the price I love the thing.
