Yes there is always a fuse box underneath the dash in the cabin somewhere. Is there no fuse box in your engine bay?

@@WilldaBear, I don’t believe there’s any fuse box in the engine bay for BMW. Did yours have a fuse box underneath the engine bay??

@@sumeetlal1 I do not have the exact car as you so I am not sure for yours, sorry. I would look in the owner's manual for fuse box location. However if that 2022 X3 really has no fuse box in the engine bay, then the only option for you is to access the fuse panel that is inside the cabin. Most likely it's behind the glove compartment so you would have to open that to see your fuse panel. Then decide what fuse you want to tap into. The difficult part is that your lights will be in the engine bay area while your fuses are all the way inside the cabin so you would have to find a grommet to push the wires through so it can reach the glove compartment. Make sure you choose a fuse that won't mess anything up.

I bought one these types of kits but they brought 2 yellow wires as well. Any Idea what they would connect to? SO I have Black, red and 2 yellow wires. Any help would be great

After watching your how too! Video for one thing you didn’t go into detail with showing how you made the connections and next you stated fuse box and not headlight which is misleading , I would suggest you you stick with what you say your going to do. But I will say this hooking it directly to the headlight the bmw headlight error code will pop up on the dash board and am saying this because I did exactly what you did and the only reason I watched this video is because you stated connecting to the fuse box. So on a bmw this is not ideal to run on the headlights due to the modules.

Open the fuse box and look for the ignition fuse. Then use a fuse adapter to tap into it. I ended up using another fuse instead of ignition.

Simple, just get terminal ends and crimp them onto the end of the 2 wires. Black will go to a ground and the red you will have to find the right fuse that works best for your car.
