After 71 confirmed murders, it was decided that he should no longer have contact with other inmates. However, staff didn't have to worry for long, because he was released a few years later. Today, you can hire him for public appearances. Pure insanity.
@mundobostal85302 жыл бұрын
Yes, but he spent 42 years in prison or more. And Brazil's laws got a failure: You can't spend more than 30-40 years under arrest, but he got 130 years initially. Don't say "A few years".

I feel a bit conflicted, he only seemed to kill people who were crooks and that old saying fits. You live by the sword you die by the sword. Criminals are predators that prey on normal civilisation, yes socio economic factors play a role but people still choose to cross that line or not.

This one really peaked my interest. I feel like you could even do a longer and more detailed video about him and his life. Maybe multiple parts? I would definitely listen to them. He sounds like a sort of Robin Hood of justice, although not all of his murders were "justified". I'm definitely planning on finding his book and other writings about him.

He’s apparently a KZbin now. That’s how I learned about him, a short on the serial killer who became a KZbinr. I decided to watch something like this video before I even consider looking at his channel. It’s apparently to show that he has a good side too. I’d rather know his crimes before watching him claim/pretend to be a good guy.

That dude was bizarre. It is amazing that the penal code didnt allow a longer period of incarceration with his extensive victim count. The down side of the short life expectancy.

I'm curious. Do you see him as a victim given the title..? Normally your titles of each case reflects the victims. Personally to me he was no more a victim then the average serial killer. I'm surprised by your decision and a little disappointed.
@zakazany19453 жыл бұрын
It's a direct translation of his nickname. In portuguese it doesn't sound pitiful nor badass, except for the "killer" (matador) part.
@MigData3 жыл бұрын
@@zakazany1945 thanks. Perhaps I didn't articulate my point well. All their previous casefiles have the victim's name in the title. In this one, they use the name of the serial killer. So I wondered if (and why) they see this murderer as a victim.
@zakazany19453 жыл бұрын

@@MigData there were 71 victims - be too long a title
@ante40213 жыл бұрын
@@MigData 1. It's literally his popular nickname translated into English. 2. Which victim's name, out of 71+, should the title be? lmfao 3. There were plenty of episodes of this podcast where the nickname of the killer was the title, like the Yorkshire Ripper, Mr. Stinky, etc. You don't have to try and make your "point" look more clear; your point is just completely wrong to begin with.
