I was sent a beta version of Case Remote for evaluation. I like it! Please purchase here: amzn.to/1JAf653 and see my blog at dslrnerd.com

IMHO DSLR Controller in conjunction with a tablet and smart phone works much better, you can use the phone as the master (similar to the Case unit) and the Tablet as the slave (the device that you will use to control the camera remotely)

***** I use the Android app with my Samsung SG3 phone and Note 8 Tablet with no issues, givesmy 7D mk II Wifi control, Apple is a little different as I believe it requires the apple device to be jailbroken (not something some might be willing to do) you can read about it here dslrcontroller.com/iOS/.

Damn, i was hoping that there would be no lag in live view. I am looking for an affordable hd field monitor.

GoPro is the same. Even my Zacuto EVF that's wired has a little. What is your budget? If wired is okay I got a Sony CLM-V55 for 1/2 price. There's also a generic version of the Sony that Deejay at dslrfilmnoob.com reviewed. Whatever you get, you want something with focus peaking, it really helps.

Well the new Hero4 is only maybe a half a second behind, but that is not what i am taling about. I want one for my DSLR. I shoot music videos and that little 3" screen just doesn't cut it. Thanks i'll check out those two monitors.

c0pyimitati0n I don't shoot outside without my EVF. Glare sucks. The hoods on field monitors help a little. I got the Zacuto for 1/2 price too (eBay sniping!) And they're coming out with a new one that's $exy. SmallHD makes great ones too, maybe look at used ones of theirs too.

The MustHD 7 looks good, so does the Lilliput 7" monitor.
