The screw near the knee has bended as seen in xray after 1year. Why did this happen? Will the doctors face problem while bringing it out?

The screw is bent because earlier full weight bearing. We should wait upto 100 days from the surgery to full weight bearing. In 100 days after surgery bone gets United and it bears the load. When bone in not United all load goes on screw. That why the screw hai bended.

@@kuldeeprane1469 I have seen only this doctor has told a patient to walk on full load bearing and without support on the entire KZbin. Other wise all orthopaedic doctors suggest to walk with support and minimal load upto 2 months. By the way I have femure fracture. My surgery was done on 4 sept 2024. Before 59 days and now I am walking without support with limping.

In the scenarios that you have just presented,next day full weight bearing won’t be allowed. Partial weight bearing with toe touch can be safely done from the very same day for 4 weeks and then full weight bearing started. Thanks.
