I worked at a bearing factory in Ohio that made those roller bearings for International back in the 60’s and 70’s. Sometime in the 80’s , International started putting cheaper bearings in their equipment. Glad you have her back...

Thanks Tyson. Video work was outstanding. Glad your tractor is home.

Costs of repairs on older equipment add up but they're better on fuel and don't have all the emissions headaches 👍

Hey Tyson and Shaun ok you got the tractor back and price of laber is 135.$ Wel here fixing a car it around 120$ hand hour ,and sometime they work on other car and charge you .
@brentreid70316 жыл бұрын
Just the lever probably 400 dollars. I would pushed up some burning bales and walked away from the tractor. Go to town for coffee and phone fire department when you get home.

That bs for electrical switch cost that much but I found that JD bonnet 8000 series cost $10,000 to replace here in Australia. Your handle is common problem on these IH tractors, I glad I not paying for it. 👍

yeah, I'd of thought the stick to be at least $2,000.00. Hearing the repair cost makes me long for the good old days of International or Farmall H or John Deere 60 or 70 manual transmission 5 or six speed.
@myronparks34956 жыл бұрын
The handle I'm guessing is 800 bucks. The 5488s front seal would leak to.

I would guess that the price for the handle is between 560 and 570.

Almost 10 grand in labour holy duck. Is it even worth that much lol
@bigjim57236 жыл бұрын
i'm gonna guess around $750 american money for switch. that stuff always seems to be outrageous. i agree a loader is hard on a tractor. now here's a perfect example of why u run ballast on 3 pt while running a loader working it. imo-ok. just my 2cts-but i've spent some large money on my front axle because of not having enough rear ballast.
@Lucky4wd48406 жыл бұрын
My guess on switch $500.00

Hi I was wondering if i could ask you a question. Before your repair and before the clutches and rear end finally "went" did you notice any abnormal noise? I have an MX150 and since ive gotten it its always had a vibration like rattle / clamber i guess you could call it from the the transmission area. Might be more forward like damper area. However its only seemingly present when moving and is worsened when under load. Does this sound familiar to what you had? Im asking because when i got it we drained the oils and the sump filter had some small black looking chunks (about the size of a pencil eraser max) stuck in the filter. Looking at your video im wondering if they were clutch pack material.
@lenihanspowerwashing83492 жыл бұрын
Did you ever find the problem, I've an MX135 doing the exact same thing.
@bryanjanisse24602 жыл бұрын
@@lenihanspowerwashing8349 sorry for the wait I didn't see your reply. Yes I did find it (somewhat). I ended up bringing it to the dealer and they found the compensation valve on the hydraulic pump was shot. They replaced it for me and went through all my pressures. Since than the noise has been significantly better however I do still notice it under heavy load. From what I've gathered online some of these tractors just make that noise and no one knows why. They never break or anything just noisy I guess.

@ardenrouth35556 жыл бұрын
Since that part runs so many functions I would guess around $2200.00

that seems expensive i guess the switch cost $900 thanks for the video
@loadpin6 жыл бұрын
$8800.00 dollars labor, $2500.00 parts.... The problem is, it has to get fixed, because a new tractor is really, really expensive.
