Steph Curry. That is weak, considering that most players never make it to the finals. Also if you actually watch the videos, you would understand how silly that argument actually is and to really debate these things, you must take much much more into perspective. But that is okay, you stick to your cliche one liners that require no thought while the rest of us will have a much more meaningful debate.

The reason KD’s decision is worse is because he was already capable of winning a title, he just didn’t want to grind for it. LeBron did literally everything within his ability to win a title in Cleveland. KD, chokes in the playoffs with a great team. Cleveland was wasting LeBron career away. KD was the almost equivalent to the Messiah in OKC. He was surrounded by one of the best run teams in the league. He had 2 other MVP talents at one point. And many other good players. If LeBron had that talent that early on he would’ve won a title by his third season. While they were both the “easy” way out, LeBron at least formed a team to compete, not add to the greatest regular season team ever.

I could bot disagree with you more. He had a coach with a weak back who allowed them to do whatever they wanted. Russ who ball hogs and wants to iso all of the time, an if he doesnt get his "shots" wont play D. The KD move imo is equal to this, they both knew instantly they were going to win a title.

Destroying the Boston super team coming back from down 2-3 to then go on to win the finals is not rising over adversity? Coming back from being down 3-1 on a 73 win team is not rising over adversity? LOL the way you talk is wild, first i;'m dismissing kobe over lebron for obvious reasons. I have him at 5-9 all time, he was the closest in terms of play style but furthermore, jordan was favored in all 6 rings roster to roster, lebron only once out of 8 finals. No one was close to the bulls roster in the 90s hence why jordan left the first time they remained the same record and PR. MJ is the 2nd best player ever i'm not dissing him and until 2016 he was the goat. They are from 2 totally different eras with jordan playing in a non media world and lebron playing in an all media world. Had the most pressure to be great than any other player!! He is better in every catagory except for scoring and not by a large ass margin ex efficiency, 3 point shooting, shot attempts. steals too with jordan but rules changed and back then you could hand check! imagine kawhi being able to handcheck lmao i'm not here to diss mj obviously 1 or 2 on most peoples list. But personally lebron is the better all around player. jordan was a shoot first and lebron is a pass first! I think lebrons career is way more interesting considering all of his chapters. also.....mj played against janitors and hall monitors LMFAOOOO

If you made a 3part series about Jordan's case for goat, the difference is you wouldn't have "his chips had a note on them," or "he had a reputation for being a choker" or "he joined 2other top 2-3 players in their position in the league and didn't win 5straight". Still. 2016 was epic. People who say he stepped over Draymond to cause that... he played the man. And played him like a fiddle. Keeeen for the next part!

yea why would he join 2-3 top players in their position when management could just get them for him and a great coach in Phil Jackson. Perspective Sports The main reason that it gets held against him isn’t so much that the Heat lost, it’s that LeBron himself had the worst Finals performance for a Superstar in NBA history. He completely melted down in that series, and that’s why it gets held against him so much. The Lakers, Spurs and Thunder might’ve lost against the Mavs, but Duncan, Kobe and Durant didn’t fold the way LeBron did.

Unless you seriously want to argue to me that a 66-16 heat team with the 3rd greatest shooting guard in history with Lebron the reigning mvp and a top 5 pf in the league plus ray Allen could possibly be outmatched. Lexicon Prime. Yes but there is still a significance when you compare it to MJ who was the heavy favorite in all 6, or Kobe who was heavy favorite in 5 and sleight favorite in 2. Lebron has never been the heavy favorite, not even the mavs series.

@@william6353 Listen, I agree. But that doesnt discredit Jordan or Kobe. That only elevates Lebron for his Golden State win where the odds were drastically against him. I dont feel that way about the Spurs or the OKC win. I guess my main point is, even if you are a favorite or a very slight underdog, if you are the greatest player in the world with a great team, the odds are simply numbers on paper, just get it done. Mike was the favorite, sure. But I remember watching those last few years. The bulls were not unstoppable in the post season, they almost lost to the Knicks one year and the Pacers, they limped into the finals and if it wasnt for Jordan stealing the ball and making that famous jumper they would have went to a game 7 and who knows what would have happened then. The greats just find a way to win no matter what. I just dont like giving Lebron excuses all the time. Golden State...I get it. Especially without Kyrie. Even the first Spurs loss, I get that too. Every other run is fair game.
@william6353

Lexicon Prime. I'm never about discrediting anyone. That is what buggers me the most, people always wanna discredit Lebron instead of simply saying that Jordan was better. Same thing is happening in the Lebron Kobe debate, instead of saying Lebron is better people start calling Kobe a ball hog and says he was carried by shaq. Lebron still has at least 4 years and personally for me I think that when all is said and done, even if he wins more or not, people will still hold the opinions they have. I'm just trying to appreciate him, and I'm tired of people and the media trying to knock him down.

@Herosennin 6 жыл бұрын
@@lakernation26 Olajuwon made the finals 3 times and won 2 of them as the sole player next to Nowitzki who won a chip without an All Star next to him. He was defensive player of the year, mvp and finals MVP the only player who ever did this. He was extremely clutch on both offense as defense and ranks high in most catagories. He's also one of the only 4 players that ever recorded a quadruple double and one of the 2 players that recorded at least 2(Wilt recorded 5). Oh and during the 86-87 run in only his 3rd year, he went to the finals defeating Magic and Kareem only to lose vs the Celtics with Bird and McHale. He however did have Sampson for this run, but it still shows how great he was and that its actually a forgotten fact that Olajuwon won 4-1 in the WCF finals vs the showtime Lakers in full form. Back then the discussion was more so in favor of Olajuwon who would be the best player compared with Michael Jordan I mean we could only imagine how long the duo Olajuwon and Sampson(who were only 23 and 22) could have dominated since the Lakers, Pistons and Celtics shortly declined after they would hit their primes. Which ended in Olajuwon not playing for a championship a couple years untill he got a decent role player squad. Also the only player that actually won inbetween Michael Jordans era, twice.
@Herosennin
@Herosennin 6 жыл бұрын
@Equality 7-2521 The best center tho is Wilt. Olajuwon IMO is clearly the second best even above Kareem Abdul Jabbar. I'd put Moses Malone behind that and Russel 5th, Shaq sixth. Oh by the way, cases for Moses Malone also. Russel speaks for itself due to his chips, so I didnt feel the need to mention him.
@Herosennin
@Herosennin 6 жыл бұрын
@Equality 7-2521 His stats were more so due to his 48 min playing career average not neccesarily pace seeing as the only one who came remotely close was Baylor only once with 37 and Wilt only recorded 50 once and 40+ twice(during his early prime, just like Baylor, MJ, Kobe, Kareem, Gervin and Bob McAdoo). That the talent was weak is false. Talent is widespread throughout any era and a false narrative to downplay era's. If I must I'd call the 70's weak but thats the only era I could think of as weak. Oh and no his game wasnt one dimensional. He couldnt even physically overpower someone due to rules. He used a wide variety of fadeaways, post shots amd hooks and a crazy dropstep into a reverse layup move and fingerrolls. He even had a short middy most og his career. Lets not forget he lead the league in assists twice just to prove anybody that he could both get the craziest stats and use his team to win, which he did right away. I mean there arent alot of tapes but rules didnt count for Wilt. It was against the rules to double team but triple teams were allowed every single possession. They were allowed to do much more than Wilt was allowed to. However, even if he was allowed its a known fact that Wilt was a gentle giant who nearly ever used full force in a game due to being scared to hurt people. I always have the idea that the view that people have of Wilt is quite skewed. Everybody sees him as just a physical beast wheras he was 99% a finesse and IQ player with a 1% of freakish athleticism. Can you imagine this? The guy played an average of 48 mins his entire career and didnt even foul out even ONCE as a CENTER not even vs a young KAJ. Thats shows crazy IQ.

But then Lebron in 2018 comes to the game 4 press conference with that bullshit ass cast on talking about "I basically played with a broken hand the whole series.." AFTER YOU GOT DONE THROWING SELF ALLEY OOPS... man foh. He ain't no goat. And I love how bronsexuals love to bring up Kobe in the 2010 finals game 7 with his 6-20 something shooting but don't acknowledge how everybody shot bad in that game and Kobe still got 15 boards as a guard. Keep in mind, Kobe was killing Boston all series and averaged 30 for all 7 games. Compare that to Lebron in 2013. In the Kareem and Magic videos there was so much positive going for them, but in this series it’s just, “Lebron was really really ass, then he did something amazing to make up for it a little bit.” Like these 3 vids did more damage to Lebron’s legacy than anything else for me at least.

Leflop aint never come close once they had all their pieces. Plus Leflop had 2 all stars himself. Higher winning percentage against the best athletes? Wtf are you talking about cause i know you ain’t calling the stick people playing in todays league the best athletes ever. All of them would break like twigs if they ever had to go up against what MJ did. Whats a technical today was just a normal foul back then. Now they can’t even touch you and its a foul. MJ dominated everybody, Leflop couldn’t even get to the finals to meet Kobe, to see who was best. Getting to the finals don’t mean shit when you in the weakest eastern conference ever! He better of gotten past it. Its so weak they don’t even do east vs west all star games no more cause the east is a cake walk. MJ beat way more 50+ win teams.
