Right?!?! As sad as it is to say, at least they finally did acknowledged they messed up. I mean, how many times do we hear stories about people wrongly convicted of a crime, sitting in prison for DECADES, even though there is copious amounts of evidence proving their innocence?!?! All because the prosecutor's, and/or detective's egos are too fragile to actually admit they were wrong. People locked up behind bars for most of their lives, while the real culprit commits more crimes, so the "good guys" can keep their reputations in tact. I've seen so many shows about cases like that, where you can't believe they were even charged, let alone found found guilty, and man they are infuriating. "We're truly sorry that we were too lazy to actually do our jobs, destroying your, and your family's lives in the process. The kohlepp case is never truthfully told- it only takes one more step to get the real story there, and personally, I think its one very interesting part. The POLICE didnt track the location of Carver's phone...HIS EX-WIFE DID. She was not getting her child support and the authorities were paying her no mind when she started complaining. SHE called the phone company and said she was a detective and SHE located the property. She went there snooping. When she informed the Sheriffs ofc. the information she had gotten and threw a fit until they went and investigated,(bc they did not take the missing persons cases seriously.) The police charged HER with impersonating a police officer. This was widely reported when the story broke, but the police have been able to cover their poor response in the media with their own B.S. (I'd like to see a movie made from Carver's ex-wife's perspective)

On July 10, 2017, a grand jury indicted Owens for first-degree murder in his death. Owens told a strange story blaming his uncle, Gene Owens, for killing Quinn. He claimed that his uncle forced him to help dispose of the body by dismembering and burning it. Rather than go to trial, Owens pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the fact to first-degree murder. He received a sentence of ten years, which he will serve concurrently with those in the Codd case. He should have gotten more time but at least he'll never set foot out of the prison again.

I know these cases so far (first 2) ... but every time I never fail to get so angry at the cops & their incompetence!!! Imagine being pregnant & your love is murdered.. you deliver your baby alone. Then the cops accuse you of having an affair w your husbands best friend & being his killer! I can’t imagine... poor woman had a rough year for sure Prob for the wrong man. Since they are so good at their jobs 🤦🏻♀️ And the sociopath who killed all his wives & anyone who crossed him should have been put away after killing the first family. So sad his wife at time stood by him. When you’re on their good side, you can’t imagine what monsters they are. My “Prince Charming” was the cruelest person I’ve ever known

Cops aren't always incompetent. Some know exactly what they are doing. Which is why I got charged twice, 6 years apart, for a crime that never happened. Even having a witness, to the entire nights events in 2002, was totally ignored. My crime was being male, with a complainant being female. That nasty girl screwed my life over, (as I later found out, I was the fourth) and there was no evidence anywhere. It's a long story with a number of twists, which many think I'm making up. HELLOOO the girl had been off her meds for 10 months apparently. And real life isn't always logical. So just because brainless twats don't see the logic they expect, doesn't mean the entire case is a lie. People can be immensely stupid while thinking they're really smart.

@@miramuchachito296 I would put the blame more on the justice system than on the police. At the end the justice system is in charge of investigating and convicting, the police is there to keep the other and catch criminals, which they did.

You missed a twist in the List story. List killed his family because he was broke and couldn't keep them in the lifestyle they were accustomed to. The twist is that the skylight in the mansion was an original Tiffany stained glass and was valued at 6 figures in the 70s. He could have helped the money issues had he only put some thought into it rather than murdering his family. Then again, he had much bigger issues than money apparently.

You didn’t include the detail about John list that his last son to be killed wasn’t shot dead immediately, but instead was shot elsewhere and so tried to flee. So had to be shot repeatedly. Also that he claimed to have killed his family in order to make sure they went to heaven because apparently his wife had started drinking and he was worried his kids wouldn’t be raised in religion. Also he claimed to have abandoned his family because he couldn’t afford their bills as he lost his job, but it turned out that the chandelier in the ballroom in the house was worth over $100,000 which could’ve easily tied them over until he found another job.

the case involving the doctor is infuriating. it's insane that he could shrug off the accusations as a figment of her imagination and instead of the police and everyone else in town being like "uh, did she hallucinate the semen sample too?", they're instead like "yeah that makes sense". i've been binge watching so many of these videos and even when rape victims do everything right and report it to the police, everyone around them will find the most illogical ways to discredit the victim.
@tislyworrell24462 жыл бұрын
So darn true!!
@BlueYellowGreenVc Жыл бұрын
Exactly! It's so infuriating because they act like this even when you do everything right but when a victim waits years to come forward, all of a sudden it's "she's lying because why didn't she say something sooner". As if victims aren't dismissed whether they speak up sooner or later.
@Assimandeli Жыл бұрын
Well, I mean, the first two blood samples didn't match the semen's DNA. Considering that the guy does sound innocent. But sure, if she denies knowing why there would be semen in her underwear, you'd assume that the police would suspect somebody else in the hospital for raping her.
@6235river Жыл бұрын

“We know you are wondering about the puppy” Yes you are absolutely correct.
You should talk about the hunter murders by brothers in Mio, Michigan. Their bodies were fed to the pigs, and the one witness said that their heads being hit by baseball bats sounded like watermelons being hit. It’s very gruesome, and was a cold case for 20 odd years. No one talks about it.
