The fact that the entire course is included in one video makes it much easier to understand and watch in one go. I have to say, around one hour in, you completely lost me. You lined up a bunch of the same shots from slightly different angles, and you zoomed through edits/cuts w/out necessarily specifying what exactly you were extracting. It made the tutorial frustrating and unnecessarily complicated. I watched it over and over and couldn't figure out which edits you were making, b/c the scenes were all so similar. I think that this would've been a much better intro to editing in Resolve by using markedly different scenes that were easy to tell were different simply by looking at them. Edit: I think that it's fair to note that while I didn't participate in that section, I did watch it to try to get an idea of what was going on. I've since moved beyond that section, and things are going well again. Overall, it's been a really useful tool, and I thank you for that, but I felt that it was important to note that you seemed to get away from the tutorial and into you just making random edits. Edit Two: You did the same thing in the Fusion page example. You started just doing things w/out really explaining how you were doing it, and I had to watch the video back numerous times to try to figure out it. You seem to forget that you're teaching people who've never done this before, and you move into editor mode, where you're doing, not teaching. It makes it really difficult to follow along, and after watching the beginning of the Fusion page section, I felt that I was understanding, but as you rifled through the example of how to apply that knowledge, it all fell apart.

It had used both softwares and i will say this Premier Pro is beginner friendly. Its for beginners and it has beginner friendly layout. Davinci Resolve is for Professionals. Its is for Professionals who would love to do editing, audio mixing, color grading and many more in a single software. Premier Pro charges you a lot and you need to pay that every single month bcz its from Adobe. Resolve just asks for a One Time Payment and thats it. Overall for me, i like Resolve far more than Premier Pro. Its far more superior. When it comes to pricing, resolve takes it too.

Please email help@rthstudios.com for assistance. Be sure you have Resolve 18.6 or higher. Also, make sure to read the instructions very closely on the page where the download link is and visit www.groundcontrol.film/support for help articles.
