This reminds me why I hate thieves so much. Not only did they steal an expensive RV, but then they had to destroy it, too.
@redmondjp5 ай бұрын
I just bought a theft-recovered 2007 F250, and it's the same - the insurance company paid out $25K on it, because the tweakers sprayed the entire truck (including inside door panels) with bedliner. And they screwed with other stuff that I am now fixing. It's maddening. Mechanically the truck is still great underneath, which is the only reason why I am investing in it, as I really don't care what it looks like, so long as it hauls stuff to the dump and brings firewood home. F the tweakers and thieves, and our politicians are letting them roam free with no consequences for their actions, but that's a different discussion not for here.

@@LTDunltd Totaled or not, it had to come out. And, coming out with no additional damage means that it's worth more at auction. There's enough little damage all over that I agree it's probably a goner. All the glass is a major hit. Then the buggered jacks. Then all the compartments that were damaged breaking in. And the hitch. Not to mention the batteries and electrical. And, was the genset still there? If the major stuff was fixed and the minor stuff was fixed to be workable this would be a useable rig, but to make it like it was before is probably just not worth it.

@scuss25 ай бұрын
@@LTDunltd At 20:17 It reads "New Shiney Shit Racing". I'd bet the tire imprint in the front of that trailer when law enforcement went to investigate would probably match the owners truck tires. That trailer was old and worn out and owner wants a new one. A Shiney one at that. If insurance totals it the check helps purchase the one, he just bought at a recent auction but stashed it somewhere else until the insurance company got this one out of his yard. This gives the owner time to salvage any useable equipment or accessories that a friend of his could use on his trailer or camper. How many years did owner own this trailer before it was supposedly stolen? I said something about this in Casey's Short video.
