I love how, usually, the blog ends with your family or on your way home to them. You've said, multiple times, family is very important to you and so is the time you spend with them. two ways of doing a timelapse: 1. record a really long video clip then speed it up 2. take an individual photo at specific intervals then play it back at a frame rate with one photo being one frame (2 is better imo) :)
