I started doing small video productions in middle school. I continued in high school by being a part of one of the best high school film programs in the country. I'm now off to college and my first year at college felt so wrong without filmmaking in my life. So I added a Cinematic arts minor. I'm hoping that I can save for some decent equipment and start making films again. The dream is to be half as good a story teller as Casey, but still be able to make money ofd KZbin. Casey is absolutely the most influential and inspiring filmmaker I have ever seen. He's almost single handedly reignited my passion for filmmaking

This literally is one of the best Draw My Life Videos I have ever seen, and it makes me kinda sad actually. The way Casey went trough all of this... He is successful, has an own company, everything. I am pretty much trying to do the same and achieve becoming a filmmaker or programmer, but here in Germany things go different. I want to move out soon as well, but the thing is no one can do the exact same steps Casey did to become successful. People here are unfriendly, there are no job opportunities except for becoming a farmer, and becoming a filmmaker is the hardest thing to do at all. I am sick of my country... The way it behaves and is drags me down every day, I just want to get out of here, meet new people. Actually, why not move to NYC as well? KZbin has been up for several years now, but trying to focus on YT now is pretty worthless. Casey used his chances by discovering KZbin in the early days. Now there are just too many channels and people there. To be honest, I wish my life was harder, so I would actually work for something. Im just sitting at home every day, thinking how to improve my life. It leads nowhere. Casey achieved so much I will never even be able to see... But I cant leave my family, and Germany isnt helping in any way at all. Of course he only Vlogs when he's in good mood, but things seem to be running great for him. The way we get education here drives me crazy. Its pretty much useless when 90% of what we do is unneeded. School doesn't teach us how to live life. How to be successful. How to become a Filmmaker. I dont know what to do... I need a new start.

Even if u have to begin to clean toilets and more - you choose how to live in your place - not the city does . Some people start with illegal things to earn money - get caught and then they had to earn money by real hard work like doing whole 16 hour a day , nightshift and more . And now they are programmers or artists and own more money than i would earn in my whole life
@CookieCraftMedia8 жыл бұрын
+Tahir Akkaya Well, yeah. But I sort of have to get somewhere. Its not garantueed to become something better when starting off with a worse job at first. If I'd wanted to be programmer I would need some kind of programming skills/educatio first. I just dont know how to get them...

when I first started watching your videos a couple of weeks ago, I didn´t know you were a father. I watched that videos with the bikes and the expensive flight and another one where you are in a very expensive hotel room. but only when i saw your video about Owen´s graduation in highschool you totally got me! when you said that you would do anything to be able to send your kid to school so he wouldn´t have to go through the same as you. Man, that really touched me. What an awesome dad you are!
