You asked about collaboration and stuff in a community post a little while back, and I just remembered, Jason Cammisa, you two would probably get along famously.

What a great channel, it takes skill to create videos that seem to make time fly by. I just finished my brake class last week and am now going into steering and suspension! Outstanding timing Mr. Casey thank you for all of your content

Casey.. In your opinion what's the best upgrade for a Gen 1 with the stock wheels.. I know you got one over there.. I could definitely tell on a spirited run on tail of the dragon the stock brakes have limitations especially brake bias

You said they are prototyping these? Do they intend to make production ones eventually? I may be interested for my car depending on price and such.

Oddly they look like the Hart brand of Brakes... I have a set on my Dakota Drilled/slotted. being the Viper and my Dakota (97-04) had the same bolt pattern 6x114.3mm (4.5in) as 90% of all vipers, expect that oddball year the Viper went to 5 lug.

Why did PFC just not give you a blank rotor hat? Using a random 5 bolt hat makes no sense?

I do not see a speed advantage in being able to remove the disc from the hat while on the car as I do not think it can be done. A neat method of securing the two parts though. Might there be a problem with the hard disc iron (?) tangs in the slots of the alloy hats? The system used on motorcycles is more complicated but does not have the same issues. Perhaps this shows the problems of using race technology on road vehicle that do not get the constant inspection and maintenance a race car should have. I designed and had made a disc brake system for the rear of a car using the CArD design you did and then made wood adaptors to prove it would fit before going to metal. Now I have a 3d printer I would do it that way.

I need better brakes on my car. While I really don't use them much, it's a manual transmission, they don't produce enough force. Emergency stopping is definitely not my Audi's strong suit!
