I have the 8" ring light on a tripod version of this, and love it. BTW, thank you SO much for not using the damn 'click bate' titles, etc. for your videos. That is by far my number one pet peeve of 'van life' channels. Dammit, this morning I got sucked in again to watch a video, only to think, well, first of all, you weren't really "escaping" the police, second, using first gear in a van that you have heavily weight loaded to the rear axle, but it's a front wheel drive vehicle (that in and of itself was stupid from the get go), up a steep mountain, was really not the smartest choice. Just lots of needless self-inflicted drama to drum up views, I guess, but it's annoying AF. So again, thank you heaps for not going down that path. :-) Love your channel.

I showed your vids to my gf, she thinks your a riot and cool as well. I've gone over your intro vids about your situation and why your doing what you've chosen. I understand and hope you succeed with your plans. I'm working on a special project as well it's a bug across the board. complications all over the place even so I haven't given up, NO WAY will I ever. You've made the best choices to enable your plans to work that's good. Myself on the other side lets say it's a work in progress even though there are delays all over the place. I can relate. Gyrl, that clip way too small /weak to hold all the weight of those long two metal lines and a camera. Get the GoPro Jaws Clamp mount (or two if you want to hold a light). That second clamp is a little better than that first silly thing. 😜

I got one a while ago and imagine it would suit your vlogging style perfectly, it's small (That's what she said), lightweight, you can attach a phone to it and it has a built in gimbal for stable video.

The big iphones were to compete with the popular larger android phones that a lot of men with larger hands were into (like the Samsung Note phones). Of course Apple occasionally forget it's loyal (iphone) customers are loyal for a reason, they like what they've been buying into. Including the smaller form factor. (from an Android loyalist...literally never owned an iphone, lol)
