I was reading about attachment styles and this advice seems to be how to keep the upper hand in dating by keeping women guessing by offering anxious attachment style. This might work short term for some women in dating, but how does it translate to relationships where you are always there and its harder to keep the hypergamy illusion going? With secure attachment style you can be yourself, affectionate excited interested and caring and that seems healthier and sustainable if its mutual from someone that's also sincere and secure. This works for the avoidant attraction type. Basically, you’re 1 of 3 types, avoidant, secure or anxious. These are from your childhood and how you’re raised. Avoidant comes from parents who weren’t physically or emotionally available, and from what I’ve seen is the most common type today. You need to understand that just being “in love” doesn’t work anymore when post-modern culture has tried and succeeded to obliterate biological gender attitudes and behaviors. When men and women could just “fall in love” was a time when society/civilization literally designed the framework of everyday life to maximize male and female biology. First time commenter, been watching some of your vids lately and holy hell, this one hit me different. This literally happened to me earlier this year, where a new coworker started showing super high interest in me and at first I was cautious but at some point I felt certain that she's super into me so then I told myself "sweet, the game is done" and I started reciprocating the interest back and doing all the things you said not to do LOL. At some point I was under the impression that nothing can go wrong, but in the span of 1 week it all went to hell and left me traumatized and heart broken.
